When lunchtime came around, Felipe and Karma sat together. Normally Felipe spent her lunch in the library, but today she was being a protective little worry wart. “Thought you were avoiding Oliver.” Karma teased. Felipe rolled her eyes and continued eating her lunch, a bowl of creamy tomatoe soup with bread and butter. “Do you prefer Olivipe, Feliver, Folly, Felly, Olipe, Feliper, Oliper, or Folive?” Karma continued to tease, getting a playful glare from her friend. “You’re right. Olifel is the one.” Karma chuckled. “As for me... I think our first names wouldn’t mix well. Perhaps O’Lira?” Karma then whispered with a giggle. “Yeah, good luck with that. Meanwhile Dear sweet Callum seems to be enjoying the new throne you forced him on. Perhaps he’ll forget about you all together.” Felipe huffed. “Well, if he’s happy, I’m happy.” Karma replied stubbornly. “Right.” Felipe replied, rolling her eyes.

While it looks like Callum would have fun he was actually not very used to the sudden surge in popularity. He just was quiet like always and thought if it would be a good idea to bring Karam and Felipe over here.
-
(I figured Callum or Oliver or both would come over to the table.)
-
(Okay, let me try again.)
Callum soon grew bored of the conversation and, without anyone noticing, slipped away from the table to go to Karma. Oliver appeared to have done the same as he was following him. -
“Well, looks like we have guest!” Karma cheered. “Hello O’Heras!” She cheered. Felipe felt a blush creep on her cheeks as she looked down at her meal, focusing on the soup. “Would you two be joining us? We were just talking about what dress Felipe should wear to the Halloween dance next Friday.” Karma hummed, causing Felipe to blush deeper. She hadn’t planned on attending that dance, a bunch of humans in a human town pretending to be like them... Even if All Hallo’s Eve was a traditional holiday that all witches and wizards came to the mortal world to celebrate, Felipe and her mother usually stayed at home, not wanting to participate. “I’m not going, you know I don’t go to that kind of stuff.” Felipe sighed. “Would you go if someone took you?” Karma asked, Felipe stomping on her foot under the table. Karma yelped slightly from being kicked but chuckled softly. “Alright, Alright, you don’t like dances.” Karma chuckled.
-
Oliver asked "Are you sure you don't want to come, Felipe? You can come with me as my plus one."
-
Felipe blushed and looked away, causing Karma to grin. “Felipe, it’s rude to not answer a question.” Karma teased. Felipe was frowning, images of stabbing a voodoo doll with Karma’s face in her mind for a second. She then turned to Oliver, prepared to say no. ‘No, I have better things to do.’ She thought. “Sure, I’d love too!” Came out. Felipe made mental note to viciously murder the blue haired girl with a voodoo doll behind her back later. “Excellent! I’ll help you get ready after school!” Karma cheered. “What about you Callum? Are you going to the dance?” She asked before her friend could throw a fit.
-
Oliver smiled when she said yes. Callum said "I don't know. I'm not much of a party kind of person. On the other hand, I do have a cool costume I want to show off."
-
Karma smiled and nodded. “I hope you go, I’ll have an outfit to show off too.” She told him with a smile before sipping her drink. Felipe rolled her eyes in disapproval, annoyed by her friend’s taste. Then again, she was just mad at Karma in general at the moment. “You know what I bet Kimberly’s going to wear?” Karma asked. Felipe couldn’t help but cheer up and laugh. “Sexy cat costume.” They both agreed at the same time. This was Kimberly’s first year at the school, being in grade nine. However her life revolved around three things. Cats, boys, and style.
-
Oliver laughed a little at what they said. He then said "I know what I'm gonna be. Freddy Kruger."
-
“Oh? Shame he doesn’t have a love interest, so I can’t force her into a couple’s costume.” Karma sighed. “I mean, I could dress you up as Tina Grey.” She added. “I can choose a costume myself.” Felipe told her, looking at the ground.
-
Oliver understood where Karma was going with it and got excited. He said "Or, you could dress up as Carrie. Some people seem to ship her with Freddy for whatever reason. Or maybe as Nancy."
-
“Or, a female version of Freddy.” Karma suggested. Felipe had put her meal aside and rested her forehead on the table, causing Karma to chuckle. “Her mother’s extremely overprotective, and she knows I’m signing the contract to allow her mother to ground her for life by matchmaking.” Karma explained. It was, for the most part, the truth.
-
Callum said "Well we don't want to get you in trouble." Oliver interrupted "Come on, be a rebel. Can't you just sneak out or something?"
-
“Yes, she can. Believe it or not, Felipe’s quite gifted to that. It’s her loyalty to her mother that holds her back.” Karma explained. “I can’t do this Karma, you know I can’t, and you know why.” Felipe told her. “No, you can go to a dance with a guy you like. Your family can’t blame all of humanity on what happened to your father.” Karma replied telepathically. “Yes we can. We have every right to.” Felipe told her in her head. “You can’t afford to trust your instincts for once in your life?” Karma asked out loud. “Felipe, you can trust him. I know these two like the back of my hand. They’re good guys.” Karma told her in telepathy. “Alright... I’ll sneak out. However you,” She began, pointing at Karma. “Are not dressing me. I don’t need to show up to the dance in a goth horror costume with a tight black dress, a choker, and heels I can’t walk in.” Felipe told her. “Aw, how’d you know?” Karma asked, causing both girls to laugh.
