Karma smiled, glad it was her last day being suspended. She used an invisibility spell in order to go to the school and hide in the gym so she could watch Callum.
-
All of the popular kids sat on the bleachers to see Callum show off his basketball skills. Callum was having his shoulders rubbed by Oliver before he went out. He said "You'll be fine. I believe in you." With that, Oliver sat down with the others and Callum came out on the court. Callum took a few deep breaths and started dribbling. Just then he was suddenly hit with all the knowledge he got last night and started preforming different trick shots and slam dunks.
-
Karma smiled as she watched him, not interested in the sport itself but glad to see his confidence turning out. It took everything to contain her excitement so as to not make too much noise.
Felipe watched with her magic from the hallway, not interested of course, merely making sure Karma didn’t do anything stupid. She certainly wasn’t watching the red haired boy specifically, more his friends to make sure they were buying this silly shenanigan. -
All of the popular kids were in aww of Callums moves. He was doing tricks that would impress the Harlem Globetrotters. After one final slam dunk, everyone got out of the bleachers to cheer for him. Callum was just as surprised as them. Oliver put his arm around him and said "I told you you could do it." Callum smiled and said "Didn't know I had it in me."
-
Karma cheered happily, clapping her hands, her sound drowned out by the crowd. See why she loved crowds? She smiled, enjoying seeing his surprise and happiness. “Who says magic doesn’t solve your problems!” She bragged as she entered the hallway where Felipe was. “Yeah, just remember you’re invisible genius.” Felipe chuckled. “Oh? What’cha watching?” Karma teased. “Nothing.” Felipe defended, waving away the magic screen. Karma shrugged before leaving the school, heading to the park to do school work as she took away her spell.
-
All of the popular kids gave Callum a pin that showed he was part of their group and Ridley gave him his Blizzard account name so they could play Overwatch together.
-
Felipe rolled her eyes as she returned to watching them. What silly traditions they had, over what? Tossing a ball into the hoop? Felipe sighed, waving away the magical screen before disappearing (metaphorically, not literally like Karma) into a book.
(A good time for Olly to meet her since she’s off gaurd.) -
Oliver walked out of the gym with Callum and he left for class. Oliver saw Felipe sitting down reading a book and he came closer. He asked "Hey, what are ya reading?"
-
Felipe jumped when she heard Oliver, dropping the book, her cheeks burning red in frustration and embarrassment. “Uh... Hi... Uh... The Secret Garden... It’s a classic.” She replied, focusing on trying to find her page as she tried not to look at him.
-
Oliver sat down beside her and said "Never heard of that book. What is it about?"
-
Felipe took a deep breath before staring blankly at the book as if she was actually reading. “It’s about a girl who is neglected by her parents growing up. When they die she is a cross, spoiled, unhealthy child that has a terrible temper. However after moving to live with her uncle in England, playing outside and discovering the mysteries behind the property, she becomes healthier and happier, even making two friends and caring for a hidden flower garden they find.” Felipe explained.
-
Oliver said "Sounds like a good book." He put his arm on the back of the bench, behind Felipe and changed the subject. He asked "I hate to ask but why is your name Felipe? Isn't that normally a male name?"
-
Felipe blushed a bit, putting her book down as she knew it was pointless to try and concentrate. “In French, yes, it’s of male origin. In Spanish, it is of female origin.” She explained.
-
Oliver said "Oh, I thought it was the other way around. Either way it is a nice name for such a pretty girl."
-
Felipe rolled her eyes, unable to help the blush on her pale cheeks. “What do you want Oliver?” She asked, trying to sound rude and offputting.
