Ridley pulled Callum all the way to a room usually reserved for club meetings. A sign said "Secret meeting, no e-vite, no entry." Ridley opened the door and he and Callum came in. The room had the popular kids all in it sitting around a large desk. Ridley sat in his spot and Oliver showed Callum where to sit.
-
Kimberly was chatting with her friends before stopping and smiling when Callum arrived. “Hey Callum, I’ve heard a lot about you.” She told him with a charming smile. She had broken up with her boyfriend recently for obvious reasons, so now she was flirting with nearly any guy that could be considered popular.
-
Callum asked "Like what?" Ridley answered "Your brother Oliver has been saying you can do all kinds of things. Such as being a great basketball player like him and being absolutely great in Overwatch."
-
“How come you’re not part of the basketball team?” Kimberly asked.

Kimberly: -
(I thought Felipe was a guy.)
Callum didn't know what to say. He was just worried that Oliver got him into something he didn't want to be part of. He made something up and said "I don't like to brag? Or take pride from Oliver."
(Oliver: -
(Lol nope)
“Hmm... Nice, modest, and talented. Tell me more.” Kimberly giggled.
“Ugh... Mortal girls...” Felipe sighed upon spying on the meeting with her magic. What? Can’t a best friend look out for her best friends crush that she wants absolutely nothing to do with? Besides, Felipe normally watched the mortals. Despite their many flaws, she was very curious about them. Not curious as in: Look at this amazing creation of nature! No... Curious as in: What kind of hell made these creatures and why don’t they make any sense!?! Kind of curious. Based on what she knew based off of... mortal research... Oliver wouldn’t be one to lie on the spot to his friends, even if it was for the good of his father. Karma must have been trying to make Callum popular, but why?
(Alright.)
After school, Callum was now incredibly nervous and angry at Oliver. He said to his brother "What did you tell them?" "So I spread a few stories to get you popular, it's not like I was doing something bad." Oliver answered. "It's bad to me. I can't play basketball worth crud and my Overwatch game is mediocre at best." Callum argued. He then sighed and said "Now I have to show off my supposed basketball skills tomorrow on the court." -
Felipe saw the scene going on. “On one hand, I want to watch the mortals burn...” She muttered. “On the other hand, I cannot have my best friend burn with them.” She groaned. She sighed, walking over. “Listen, this is all a misunderstanding. You see, I’m not supposed to tell you this, but Karma told him to tell them that. She wanted your confidence up. Goodness knows why, but there’s no need to take it out on your brother.” Felipe told him, turning to Oliver and giving a discrete wink so he wouldn’t get confused and blow it.
-
Callum said "That's all well and good. But I still can't play basketball. I don't fit in with the popular crowd and I doubt I ever will. I'm not suddenly gonna get mad basketball skills overnight."
-
“Well, have this in your pocket when you play.” She offered, giving him a four leaf clover charm. “Try practicing at home with it in your pocket first. Who knows, might just give you some luck. It’s a gift from Karma.” Felipe told him before leaving, giving one last glance before walking away. The charm was an enchanted charm, not too powerful but it had good luck that became luckier the kinder someone’s heart was. A mortal’s heart might not do much, but enough to impress them shall he have his brother’s help.
-
Callum didn't believe in luck but accepted the charm because it was from Karma. Oliver said "Look don't worry. I'll help you out the best I can. Come on." He began to walk home and Callum said "Tell Karma, I like the charm."
-
Felipe nodded, walking to the park where Karma was, standing over her with crossed arms. “I’m not impressed.” Felipe told her. “Oh, Felipe... You’re not impressed by anything.” Karma teased with a grin. “This isn’t a joke Karma! You put that boy in a terrible pickle when you made them all think he was good at basketball or whatever.” Felipe ranted. “I thought you didn’t care about non-magic folk.” Karma teased, though a look of concern in her eyes. “I... don’t... But I fixed the problem for you. No reason you should die on his sinking ship, even if you were the ice berg.” Felipe huffed. “You’re just mad because I got his brother involved.” Karma teased. “I-“ Felipe began, opening her mouth many times, closing it in defeat many times. “Hat exactly is that supposed to mean!?!” Felipe demanded. “Nothing.” Karma replied with an innocent grin. Felipe rolled her eyes before sitting beside Karma. “You’re going to be the death of me Karma... You really are...” Felipe muttered. “That’s what best friends are for!” Karma teased with a grin.

(Do I smell a Oliver x Felipe ship?)
Once Callum and Oliver got home, they went out to the backyard to the small court Oliver had to practice. Oliver started by showing Callum how to dribble which he got down almost immediately, not that it was hard. Once he started shooting at the basketball that he seemed to be having difficulty. -
(Maybe)
Going home was the usual for Karma, only once it was bedtime, she activated the voodoo spell, using a lock of Callum’s hair she got when he talked to her. During the night, she read knowledge of basketball from many books so that the knowledge would come to him while he was sleeping. Then she turned off the spell before putting the doll away and going to sleep herself. -
During the night, Callum started having dreams of embarrassment to dreams of glory. Somehow the knowledge of basketball was flooding into his head.
The next morning, Callum woke up wondering why he was having those dreams. He sat down next to Oliver for breakfast and he patted his back.
