Callum exited his final class, glancing back and forth down the hallway. There was a flood of students rushing to exit the building; this was normal for the end of school. Rather than following them, Callum pushed his way through the crowd to get to a classroom a few doors down. He knew that Jacob would be there, waiting. Jacob was quieter than Callum, and he was not assertive in the slightest. He refused to join the rush of students leaving the school every day. When he reached the door, he opened it, peering inside.
-
Jacob looked up from his book as he heard the door creak open. Seeing that it was Callum, a smile grew onto his face. “Cal!” He remarked, quickly closing the book and stuffing it into his backpack. He was always grateful to have Callum as a friend; he may not have been an extrovert like Callum, but he still had loads of fun in his company.
-
Callum shoved his way past the door, entering the room and rushing over to Jacob. He smiled brightly, watching him put his belongings away. "What book is that?" He asked, nodding at the other boy's backpack. "I haven't seen you reading that before."
-
"The Blue Fairy Book." Jacob said, slinging his backpack over his shoulder. "It has all kinds of old fairy tales in it. Right now, I'm reading East of the Sun and West of the Moon."
-
Bumpity bump!))
-
I hate my self Newbie""hello my name is jasmine and im new here and i would love some friends im 14""
-
Callum's eyes widened slightly in fascination. He crossed his arms, watching Jacob get ready to leave. "That sounds really cool, Jacob," he said, genuinely fascinated. "Do you think it would be something I would read?"
-
Jacob thought for a moment, then nodded slightly. "Yeah, I think you would. Although it is a little difficult to read." He smiled at Callum, and listened as the low hum of students started to die down.
-
Once Callum could no longer hear the strong patter of students' footsteps, he tugged on Jacob's shirt, hinting that it was time to leave. He started to walk forward, stopping at the door and pulling it open for Jacob. "How did your day go?"
-
"It was alright." Jacob said, standing up and walking through the door as he waited for Callum to follow. "Average, at best. How was yours?"
-
(I am so sorry for the lack of responses! I've been busy)
Callum shrugged, stretching out his limbs and pushing his backpack to one side. "Same here. There was a lot of information to take in, and it was exhausting." He frowned, looking at Jacob. "Isn't it strange, thinking about how we'll be graduating rather soon?" -
It's alright!))
Jacob nodded, and looked around at the empty school. "I'd like to say I'll miss this place - but I don't think I will." he said with a soft laugh. He slipped his hand into Callum's as they walked down the hall.
I'm assuming they're already dating, right? That's what the plot says anyway)) -
(Are you still interested in doing this? I think I finally have a mindset strong enough to participate in this without leaving you hanging.)
-
Of course! I'd love to finish this roleplay.))
-
(Sweet! And yes, they're already dating. This is just before the accident by a week at most.)
"That's a statement I can relate to," he said, smiling and squeezing Jacob's hand gently. "Do you have any plans for... Right now? I was thinking about taking you out for a snack. Y'know, like... Ice cream, or something like that?"
