Alex shook his head, and set down his pencil.

Baptiste poked Alex's cheek. "You really can't relax. What's a couple of tardies? I get most of my work done, and have decent grades. Not like mister student council of here. Don't you ever lighten up?" He said, running a hand through his dyed hair.

"Ever darken up?" Alex asked, pulling out a red binder. He opened it up, it was bulgding with paper. He satrted rifling through it

"That made no sense and was not funny." Baptiste said flatly. He leaned all the way over to peer into Alex's binder. "What's all of this?"

Alex pushed his face away, still riffling "Not your business"

Baptiste leaned even further towards him now, about to say something before the weight in his desk shifted and the whole thing - him included - came crashing down.

He pulled a sheet of paper from his binder, ignoring the crash. Alex closed his binder, and locked it tight

Baptiste let out a yelp upon the contact with the floor, a sizable bump already growing on his head. The teacher sighed heavily.
"Alex, will you take Baptiste to the nurse's office please?" She said, annoyed and wanting to get on with her class. -
He gathered his things, including the paper, and walked out the door

Baptiste got up, rubbing his head and glaring after Alex. "Some half-step-brother-thing he is." he said, chasing after him.

Alex read the paper, walking to the nurse's office

Baptiste trailed after Alex. "Sooooooo you never told me what that was." He said, peering over Alex's shoulder.

Alex opened his binder, and placed the paper back where it was. He just said "K 1,048 B"

"That's not a very good explanation..." Baptiste mumbled, starting to get discouraged. But he pulled up the smile again and slung an arm around Alex. "Whatever! I'll figure it out eventually!" In reality Baptiste really liked Alex - even though he was cold and didn't enjoy the same fun things that Baptiste did, he was interesting to be around.

"Jeez, thought all those times you were dropped as a baby would be made your head stronger.. it's worse.." Alex mumbled
