Alex sprayed on some cologne, and grabbed his backpack. Due to the student council, which he was president of, he had to be at school by 6 am. It was currently 5:30, and it was a twenty minute walk. He should arrive at exactly 6.

Baptiste was still fast asleep when his mother knocked on the door. "Honey? You're going to miss the bus on your first day!" She cooed, and Baptiste awoke with a start as he turned and fell onto the floor. Checking the time, he cursed under his breath. He was going to be late to school! -
It was almost 7:30, and Alex shook his head. "He can walk .. It takes twenty minutes.." He said under his breath as he filled out some paperwork

Baptiste opened up his closet, looking for something to wear. "Fun, fun fun..." he mumbled under his breath, giving up and choosing something simple. He went to go grab his backpack and decided to skip breakfast, heading out the door. He had missed the bus; guess he'd have to walk.

The clock struck 8, and Alex set down his pencil. He exhaled, and leaned back in hid chair. Man, school hadn't even started and he was already worn out

"Sorry I'm late." Baptiste says, entering the classroom and sitting next to Alex; his usual seat. He fidgeted with his clothing for a second, as he hadn't had an opportunity to check everything before he left the house. -
"Its 8:38. You're more than late" Alex said, focusing on the work presented before him.

"You're such a stick in the mud." Baptiste mumbled, sticking his tongue out at the 'perfect child'. "I missed my alarm. Not that you would know anything about that." He chuckled slightly.

"I know about missing my alarms. I just know how to walk a twenty minute walk in twenty minutes. An hour, I would know nothing about" Alex said in a monotone voice

"What can I say, I took the scenic route." he said with a shrug. In reality, he had stopped by the internet cafe for a few minutes. Just a few.
