Malefor started to whisper a spell and the staff glowed. He touched the staff to both of Lillian's eyes and said "I give you the power of sight."
-
Lillian felt excitement at his words as the white covering her eyes retreated and her brown chestnut coloured eyes appeared. She blinked as she got used to it once again and felt gleeful as she looked at Malefor. “Now I can see you.” She cheered as she looked at him. “I’m... I’m relieved I didn’t break your trust.” She told him honestly.
-
Malefor said "You should have told me you were blind earlier. I would have done it sooner. Just think of it as a gift from me."
-
“I assumed you would trust me better if you didn’t know... Because... I’m genetically blind. I told you my mother was Madam Gothel but... I don’t know who my real parents are.” Lillian explained. At first she thought telling him all this would be terrifying and hectic. However it actually felt calm, relieving. It almost felt like she could tell him anything at this point, but she knew not to push it.
-
Malefor said "I see. I sympathize, because it's almost like I have no parents myself."
-
Lillian nodded. "I'm sorry about that. I did have my Grandma Odie, but when I was around seven she got ill and it became me taking care of her... Do you or did you have anyone who's close to you?" Lillian asked.
-
Malefor said "No. My parents don't even care if I'm there or not. Whether I'm sick or lonely I didn't have anyone to be there for me. All I have for comfort is this." He pulled out an old, gray, worn-out stuffed rabbit from his blanket.
-
Lillian sighed and leaned on his shoulder, holding his hand. "I have an alligator. His name is Tiger, so Tiger Lilly. We were born on the same day, so our auras are connected." Lilly told him. "Do you think we could be there for each other?" She asked, her hand petting the rabbit gently.
-
Malefor smiled and said "Yeah. I think we can."
-
Lillian smiled and kissed his cheek, blushing slightly and hoping that wasn't pushing it.
-
Malefor turned to Lillian, turned her head and kissed her on the lips.
-
Lillian felt her heart flutter as their lips touched, kissing back as she closed her eyes.
-
Malefor broke the kiss and said "Thank you. I'll see you in the morning."
-
Lillian nodded and stood up, her legs a bit shaky from the excitement as she walked out of her room. She attempted to walk past Camila’s room quietly, not wanting to be spotted, but unfortunately Camila was waiting in Lillian’s room. Lillian quickly put her sunglasses on so that. Camila wouldn’t notice the blindness was gone. “Where’s the staff?” Camila asked. “We came to a compromise.” Lillian told her. “What?” Camila asked. “Hear me out, okay? So I suggested to Malefor that instead of kill everyone, he could just change the timeline so they never got in the villain’s way in the first place. For example, if Lady Tremain’s first husband never died, she would still be a loving mother and wife and never would even have met Cinderella. Cinderella would have gone to an orphanage, where a similar story of going to the ball and meeting the Prince would take place.” Lillian explained. “So Malefor agreed to everyone getting a happy ending?” Camila asked. “Well it wouldn’t be that in all cases. For example, if Belle had agreed to marry Gaston, and Maurice never tried to steal a rose from the Beast’s garden, Bell, her father, and the beast would have never become Gaston’s enemies, but Belle and the Beast wouldn’t be living the best lives.” Lillian explained. Camila sighed and got up. “Alright then. Good night.” She replied before leaving for her room.

The next morning, Wolfe woke up before anyone and looked at the dove. He wondered if Camila was awake and decided to see her.
