Malefor said "Ahh, so my spell is working. Soon there won't be many heroes left."
-
“What do you mean Malefor?” Camila asked, pretending to be more curious than shocked.
-
Malefor said "Think about it. How exactly would the villains win? By offing the heroes. Jafar tried to kill Aladdin, Hades tried to kill Hercules, so on so forth"
-
Camila sighed and nodded. "Alright, as long as you have a reason." She replied before leaving for Lillian's room.
-
Malefor now started to question Camila's loyalty. He had to find a weakness the Other Side had. That way he wouldn't need Camila's protection anymore.
-
Camila knocked on Lillian's door, feeling panicked. "Hey Camila. What's wrong?" Lillian asked, seeing the tension in Camila's aura. Camila took a deep breath, knowing Lillian would freak if she knew what Malefor was up to. She needed to be careful. "Lillian... I need you to try and get Malefor's staff from him." Camila explained. "No." Lillian replied before closing the door. Camila blinked, not expecting this. What was up with Lillian? The door then opened again, and it was clear she felt guilty. "I'm sorry... It's just... I'm not someone who does tricks or lies. I don't want to manipulate anyone..." Lillian muttered. "Then why did you choose to help us and pretend to be a villain kid in the first place?" Camila asked. "Because I wanted to be important. I wanted to help you get your second chance, and I wanted to be somebody other than the annoying happy girl. I wanted to be useful." Lillian admitted. Camila sighed and rested a hand on Lillian's shoulder. "You have been useful Lillian. Thank you, but Malefor trusts you, so you'll probably have an easier time getting the staff." Camila explained. "Him trusting me is exactly why I can't." Lillian replied. "Why?" Camila asked. Lillian didn't respond. "You're a better person than I'll ever be Lillian... but... Malefor's going to kill all the hero's if we don't get the staff." Camila told her. Lillian paled and rubbed her arm. This was a lot to process.
-
Malefor decided to sleep on it and just lay in his bed to go to sleep.
-
Eventually Camila was able to tire Lillian out and she put on her sunglasses before heading to Malefor's room.
(So I'm thinking Malefor's door was left open a bit and Lillian sees he's asleep. Lillian sneaks into the room and looks for the staff. Just before she finds it, Malefor wakes up and spots her, and whatever else happens happens. My hope is it ends with either Malefor having a new perspective or he tries to manipulate her into being on his side.) -
(Alright.)
Malefor lay on his bed, in a semi-deep sleep. The staff was in a secret part of his room. He kept it hidden so in case of treachery, no one could find it. -
Lillian saw the door was open a crack and took a deep breath before sneaking in. She saw Malefor sleeping in his bed and blushed slightly. Maybe this was better. She would probably break if she tried to manipulate him. Distracted from the goal at hand, Lillian looked around the room, admiring the details. She then began searching the room quietly, occasionally stroking her fingers along interesting patterns and figures as she searched. It was confusing for herself to have these feelings for someone who planned to kill so many people... If he knew she wasn't a villain child... He wouldn't return those feelings. This fact crushed Lillian, but maybe it was better off. For life was something she loved dearly, and he... well... honestly Lillian can't really know for sure can she...
-
Malefor turned to the side. He started feeling a presence in the room but was too asleep to care.
-
Lillian heard him shift and turned quickly to see he was still asleep. It didn't make sense. His aura didn't seem like a violent nature. It didn't look like he desired to kill. However he wasn't eager to be anything like a saint either. He was definitely a villain type, but that didn't make him a monster... Did it? Lillian turned back to what she was doing and found a secret compartment, so she began to look for a way to open it.
-
Malefor soon woke up after hearing the compartment open and sat up in his bed.
-
Lillian saw the staff and sighed. "What do I need and what do I want?" She whispered to herself. "For once I don't know..." She muttered. Lillian heard another shuffle in the bead and turned around, her sunglasses fell off, so she quickly closed her eyes and began to feel around for them.
-
Malefor rubbed his eyes and saw Lillian in his room fumbling around with her eyes closed. He assumed it was for the sunglasses on the ground. He pushed them closer to her and noticed the compartment was open as well.
