Lillian put the sun glasses on and blushed as she opened her eyes and looked at him. She could tell by his aura that he was definitely awake. "Uh... Hi..." She greeted awkwardly, knowing this didn't look good.
-
Malefor asked "Okay three questions. One, why are you in my room? Two, how did you find my secret compartment and three, are those sunglasses prescription?"
-
"Uh... well... it's a very complicated story..." Lillian sighed as her heart felt like it was beating in her stomach. "I really don't know where to start... I want to say the truth but... I don't know how..." Lillian sighed.
-
Malefor said "What truth?"
-
"Well... Uh... Let's go with the easiest thing... I'm blind. I can see outlines of objects and auras through magic, and Camila used her magic to give me sight for the ball." Lillian replied. "The glasses I used to hide that from you... Which I'll admit is a tad stupid... but that answers your third question..." Lillian sighed. "To answer your second question... I found the outline and felt around... Somehow I opened it... and... the first one..." Lillian sighed. However she decided being a skiddish little thing was only going to make her look guilty. So Lillian took a deep breath and stood, taking off her glasses and allowing him to see the white eyes. "I don't believe in good or evil, and I respect you and I want you to trust me, but I don't want people to die." She told him, her voice much more clear and having more courage than the babbling mess she was before hand.
-
Malefor asked "What do you mean?"
-
"I was told that you plan to kill off all the hero's." Lillian replied. "Of course, I don't really get the whole spearation of heros and villains. There is no such thing as a good person or an evil person, because everyone is a mix of both. But heroes, villains, I don't care. I don't want anyone to die." Lillian explained. Under normal circumstances she would have been ranting about this, but his aura kept her calm and relaxed.
-
Malefor said "I see. To be honest I don't want it to happen either. But I have no choice. In order for some of the villains to win, one of the heroes must die. That's not to say, every hero child will die. Some villains never tried to kill their heroes and one special case as part of my deal with Camila, will remain unaltered."
-
Lillian felt a bit relieved that he didn't want it to happen, but it was still a bit unnerving. "Well... Is it possible to change reality so that instead of all of them dying, we make it so that they didn't need to be in the villain's way, and therefore the villain wouldn't have needed them dead?" Lillian asked.
-
Malefor "No, beca…" He stopped talking as he thought about it more and then said "Why did I not think about that? Why didn't Camila think about that?"
-
Lillian was actually surprised that she came up with something useful. "Do you really think it could work?" She asked, feeling a spark of relief and glee.
-
Malefor said "It could. It definitely could. I'll have to try it in the morning. But before I go back to sleep, I want to try something." He grabbed the staff and prompted Lillian to sit next to him on the bed.
-
Lillian blushed and hesitated before sitting next to him. "What is it?" She asked, feeling nervous, curious, confused, and giddy.
-
Malefor said "I'm going to need you to trust me, and take off your sunglasses."
-
Lillian nodded and took off her sunglasses, revealing her eyes which were covered by a cloudy white eyes. "Alright." She replied.
