Nia quickly pulled away from the kiss. “Are we still keeping this a secret?” She whispered under her breath.

Alex nodded before pushing Nia off the bed "Hello Mother. Nia was just in my stuff, so I had to chase her away"

“You have a mini fridge. I wanted to see if the strict and proper Alex had junk food I could steal.” Nia chuckled, playing along as she walked out of the private area. “Dinner’s almost ready Nia. Don’t eat too much.” Her mother chuckled before walking upstairs.

Once mother had closed the door, Alex opened the fridge, then reached in. He pulled out a soda, and looked at it. He smiled, and tossed it to Nia "Catch"

Nia chuckled as she caught the soda. “I think I’d be a librarian and a waitress when I get a job. That way I can meet all sorts of people as a waitress then relax and read as a librarian.” Nia told him as she opened her soda.

He took out a Twinkie and nodded

“Ahah! So you do have junk food! Oh no, Mr. Troublemaker’s going to spoil his appetite!” Nia teased as she climbed back onto the bed.

He closed the fridge, shaking his head "Just drive k your soda."

“Such a rule breaker. What would student council think?” Nia continued sarcastically before drinking the soda.

"I don't know, what do you think of that eight year old soda?" Alex chuckled as he unwrapped his Twinkie, and took a bite of his nonperishable food

“There’s enough chemicals in this stuff that it’s just as bad now as it is when you first buy it. So it doesn’t really matter.” Nia replied with a shrug.

"Really? Not including what I put in it?"

Nia stopped drinking the soda and frowned. “What are you on about Alex? The can was sealed and I opened it. How could you have put something in?” Nia asked.

He chuckled, poking at a small bump "Well, let's just say I was experimenting.."

“What did you put in?” Nia asked.
