“Well, good luck with that. We gotta go. Secret House Buisness. Good luck sorting things out with Astrid.” Garrett replied before walking away with his friends.
-
"Byeee!" I waved and then walked away, once again getting lost in the labyrinth. Seriously though, I had no idea where I was. I was probably going to starve to death.
-
I sighed when I realized that Kim was probably lost again. Should I let her suffer? Or should I risk being nice at the cost of another death threat? Well, either way could end with me getting killed in my sleep, so for the sake of killing my boredom, I left to find her.
-
I skipped along the halls, trying to figure out where I was but failing miserably. It was probably stupid and dangerous to skip around with a knife in my hand, but I didn't care. Nor did I think about it, at all.
-
-
(Maybe she could be humming?)
-
(Alrighty then, that fits.)
-
I heard humming in the halls and followed it, smiling when I saw Kim. “I’m assuming you Totally know your way again?” I asked, my lips curving into a soft smirk.
-
I stopped skipping when I heard her and grinned, "Astrid!" I exclaimed, running over to her. I hugged her and picked her up off the ground, "You found me! I knew you cared!" I set her back down but didn't let go, "Also I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier. Seeing blood just makes me really angry for some reason, dunno why."
-
I paled almost as much as a normal vampire when she cheered my name. Before I could flea, she had me in a warm embrace and my paling calmed to confusion as I was picked up off the ground. I was relieved to feel my feet touch the ground again but awkwardly patted her back while I was still stuck in her arms. “We should get back to the room.” I advised, fighting the urge for my cheeks to heat up from any skin contact.
-
"Aww, whyyy?" I pouted, finally letting her go, "I thought we were going to the library! And besides, it's boring in there, all we can do is sleep, or talk, ooor... listen to music? Anyway, we can do all those things everywhere, so there's no reason to go back." I was having far too much fun to go back to the room, and I would use every excuse in the book if I had too.
-
“Fine then. I assume you totally know your way to the library.” I replied snarkily as I dusted myself off.
-
I crossed my arms, "Rude. You could have said that in a much nicer way. Besides, I don't need to, you're my navigator and I'm your bodyguard, we help each other survive."
-
“Alright then. I’m a map and rope, and you’re a sword and shield. Sounds accurate.” I agreed. “Alright, this way.” She continued, beginning her way to the library.
-
"Rope?" I questioned, having no idea what a rope had to do with navigation. The only thing I could associate it with was the Labyrinth story and the ball of yarn the guy used to make sure he didn't get lost. Though I felt like that wasn't what Astrid was referring to, but you never know.
