I was trying to get back to our room, but I had no idea how to get there. I had left the map in the kitchen, and thus I got extremely lost. The one upside was that wandering around having no idea where I was gave me a lot of time to cool down. By now there was blood all over the knife as I was holding it with my injured hand, and blood was dripping off my hand and the knife and onto the floor. Walking around with a knife that was dripping blood all over the floor probably wasn't smart, it made me look like I just murdered someone.

Garret was talking to his friends by the water cooler (because even magical creatures need cliches) when he saw Kim walk by, a bloody knife in her hands. "You... didn't actually kill her... Did you?" Garret chuckled, a mix of teasing her and keeping caution. The Elf in Garret's friend group was more focused on the girl herself than the knife in her hand, scanning her body lustfully. The two identical twin fairies, both with wings too small to fly with, hid behind Garret in fear of the knife. Iron burned fairies, and blood caused them great illness.
-
I had finally calmed down at that point, so I just laughed and shook my head, "Naw, I just tried to catch it after throwing it in the air, bad idea, as you can see. Say, you wouldn't happen to know where a bathroom and some bandages or something are. Because I'm probably leaving a trail of blood everywhere I go, and that just can't be good for anyone." I did notice the way the elf was looking at me, but I decided it was probably best to ignore him.
-
Garret sighed in relief and nodded. "There's a bathroom around the corner from here. You wash up your wound, we'll clean up this-" Garret began. "We will?" One of the caries asked, getting smacked in the head by his twin. "I mean... Yeah, don't worry bout it." The fairy muttered.
-
"Cool, thanks!" I said and ran off to the bathroom, because running with a knife in your hand is the safest thing in the world. Once I arrived at the bathroom and I went inside and washed the knife and my hand without looking at either.

Garrett and the others cleaned the blood, the fairies wearing gloves while doing so. “So, who was that?” The elf asked. “That’s Kim. She’s a human cursed with a Vampire bite or something like that.” Garrett explained. “Does she have a partner?” The elf asked. “No Donny. Unlike you, I’m not a pervert and didn’t have the need to ask that to a girl I just met.” Garrett replied. “Ooh!!!” One of the fairies laughed. “Burn!!!” The other cheered. “Shut up. Anyways, you aren’t a perv, but your wolf is.” The elf named Donny reminded Garrett. “Yeah... Don has a good point but...” One fairy began. “Garrett’s wolf is gay. So it wouldn’t matter.” The other concluded. “Can we just change the subject?” Garrett muttered. “Yeah, what are we getting in return for helping her?” Don asked. “A friend.” Garrett replied. The fairies nodded in agreement and as Don groaned, the other three chuckled.

There was a first aid kit in the bathroom so I opened it and used the bandages to wrap around my hand, covering my cut. I finally looked down at my hand and was glad that there was no blood left, I was also happy no blood had gotten on my dress or boots. I then picked the knife back up with my injured hand and left the bathroom. I'm not sure why, but I really wanted to keep the knife. Or maybe I just didn't want to leave a stolen knife with my fingerprints all over it where people could find it. I walked back by Garrett and his friends, "Thanks for the help... again." I said, "Now, I must navigate through this labyrinth!" I shook my head and chuckled, "I should have brought a ball of yarn." Though I guess it didn't matter that I didn't know my way around, as my goal right now was to find Astrid and apologize for getting all angry at her, and I had no idea where she was. So I could just wander around randomly and I might end up finding her.
-
"If you like I could help you find your room." Don offered. "Oh, where are my manors. My name is Donathon." He greeted with a bow and a charming smile. Garrett rolled his eyes and chuckled at the Elf.
-
I waved my hand dismissively, "Nah, I don't want to go there right now. And besides, I don't trust you to know where I sleep. I already share my room with one creep, I don't need two." The elf wasn't really all that creepy, but I was mostly joking.
-
"Aw." Don chuckled. He was well humoured so he got the joke. "What do you mean creep?" One of the fairies asked. "Is your roommate scary?" The other asked.
-
"Nah, she's just a total creep. Speaking of which, I should probably find her before she decides to soak all my clothes in garlic oil or something along those lines." I said, though she knew her way around better than I did, so if she was going to do that I doubt would find her in time. But I might as well try.
-
"Astrid's a creep? Funny. I thought you'd be the creep." Garrett teased. "A lovely young lady like this? Impossible!" Don chuckled. "Don't judge a book" "By it's cover." The fairies told him.
-
I laughed, "I did threaten her life a few times, but she's still way creepier." I looked down at the knife, "I mean, the only reason I stole this knife was because she was being a creep." I paused for a second and then face-palmed, realizing that I just admitted that I stole the knife.
