Candace nodded and followed. "You aren't scared, are you Janus?" She teased.

"As if. I'm a trained assassin; I'm not afraid of anything." He said, taking down his bun and braiding his hair again.

Ink looked at Janus skeptically but said nothing

Zander led the party through the forest for an hour, until a noise was heard."

Candace jumped and stood guard as she looked around. She fought the urge to shift, deciding to wait until it was necessary.

Janus paused mid-step and put his hand on his side, hovering over where his digger was held.

INk straightened up and looekd around with a slight frown

Just then the party is attacked by harpies. They swooped down to steal any food they had and possibly kill. Zander ducked down to avoid them.

Candace yelped when she saw the Harpies and turned into a wolf before hiding in a bush.

Janus threw a dagger out and it hit a harpie in the wing, pinning it against a tree. He ducked and rolled behind the bush with Candace. “Yo.” -
Ink looked alarmed but quickly pulled his staff off his back, a faint ring of light forming around the him and Zander as he cast a spell before he fired ice knife at one of the harpys

Two of the harpies got fatally injured and fell to the ground. The others were scared off by the light.

The wolf looked at him for awhile before deciding he meant no harm and turning back to watch the harpies fly off. Before the instinct to flee herself could kick in, Candace walked out of the bush and changed to human.

Janus took his dagger off the ground and wiped it clean with a darkly stained cloth. "Sorry that I didn't manage to kill any of them."
