“ what are....gym leaders? Don’t we fight the captains and the Kahunas?” Lake asked with a confused expression on their face, as they held an armful of Pokemon. -
(I honestly couldn't come up with anything when I said that. That's just what came out.)
Brad said "I'm afraid that's only in Alola, my friend. All the other regions have gyms. But don't worry, it works basically the same way." -
Wait what? Are you talking to me?)
“ friend? You are lakes friend?” Lake asked eyes wide, “ Lake would like friends!” They said happily. “ So Gyms have type then? So they train totem pokemon? And then you fight totem pokemon?”lake looked proud of themselves.
‘ No, no, You battle the gym leaders pokemon.’ Charmander told lake,
“ wait really charmander!? You battle person? That seems odd to lake. Lake can’t wiat until we all go back to Alola, Lake has many cool things to show new friends.” -

Brad said "Then let's go." and he grabbed Scarlet's hand to lead her out of the lab. "Now hold on. Your going to need a map to get around." said the Professor. He said "I only have one though, so I need to give it to the one who is the best navigator."

"I can." Is all that Drake says. He's also visited this region a couple times, so he has an advantage. He's judging Oak for not being prepared, though.

Bard said "Then let's give it to Drake." The professor handed him the map and said "Alright, you are all set. Have fun and be careful."

Drake mutters some sort of thanks, and pockets the map. "Alright, thanks old man. Lets go."

Lake made a cheerful sound as they walked, skipping along, until he stoppe dbecause their pokemon wnated to be carried.
( ok so I suck at team building, any suggestions guys?
Also I have a somewhat imlroant questions if Lake caught an eevee, would they be able to get an eeveelution other than the kanto three? Such as sylveon, I’m likely not going to have him evolve it into Sylveon but just cuirous, it’s the same for any Pokemon what an added de/evolution. )
