Diwali said "That doesn't mean she's my girlfriend." Eliza said "You two stop picking on him. They only talk because they are the leaders and Leaders are better at talking to other leaders."
-
(Kiara isn't the leader, just so you know.)
Kiara looked over the grassy feild. "We could use some berries to lure them out." Kiara suggested, opening their bag. "I can hear them everywhere." Russle told her. "And, just some advice, I think releasing your scent works for the other hybrids too, not just wolves." Russle told her with a smirk. "Why would I want to know that?" Kiara asked, knowing what he was suggesting. "You know... So you can let Diwali know you're interested." Russle teased.
Kiara frowned and bared her teeth at him. "Bud into my buisness again Russle, and I will leave you behind to cook and clean while Annie comes on the next hunting trip." Kiara growled. "Yes Cheif..." Russle sighed, getting into position while the bate was placed. Kiara hid in the long grass and they waited, ears ready. -
(Oh, my mistake. I looked at the character sheet. Sorry.)
Diwali said "Let's just finish eating already. We still have some more work to do." -
(Its Okay. I might have confused you when I said Cheif.)
Once the mice we're here, Kiara's ears perked at the noise. There were lots of them. They must have been starving. She turned to a wolf and Russle did as well. Then the both of them pointed out, Kiara going one way and Russle going the other, cornering the mice. Kiara and Russle stabbed as many mice as they could with their claws, the others scurrying away.
They emptied the mice into Kiara's bag after Kiara tied their tails together. "Let's head back and give your boy- Uh.. I mean... Diwali his mice." Russle decided. "That was a close one. Watch it." Kiara growled, trurning to her human form. Russle rolled his eyes, but his snarkiness faded when he turned to human form instead of hybrid. "I'm sorry miss. Won't happen again." He apologized. "That's more like it." Kiara replied with a smile before they set off. -
Everyone soon finished eating and Winston and Darrick went back to their watch posts. Diwali, Nathan and Eliza went to the corn fields in animal form to scare off the crows.
-
There journey took a bit longer, dragging the moose behind them. The moose would serve the entire pack dinner and breakfast, so they wouldn't have to hunt in the morning. They walked past the cornfield and saw the owls flying above, chasing off crows. "Looks like they're busy. Should we just drop off the mice and go?" Russle asked. When he looked beside I'm though, Kiara wasn't there. He looked around and saw her climbing up a tree.
Kiara climbed up to the branches of a birch tree and watched the owls fly around. "I would like to fly. Wouldn't that be the most freeing thing? Up there in the sky, you can go anywhere..." Kiara sighed, watching. Russle chuckled and rolled his eyes at her. "Yes, but wolves have much more strength, speed, and loyalty than birds." Russle told her. "Loyalty smoyalty. I want freedom..." Kiara sighed, hanging upside down from the branches, careful not to let her skirt fall. "Be careful!" Russle warned. Kiara rolled her eyes, sitting back up in the tree before closing her eyes and listening to the sounds of the forest, -
Diwali saw Kiara and flew down to an adjoining branch. He turned to human and said "Any particular reason for living like me?"
-
"You mean sitting in the tree?" Kiara asked, opening her eyes to look at him. "Or were you eavesdropping to my conversation with him? Because your answer determines my answer." Kiara asked, gesturing to Russle who was now in hybrid form, smirking as he leaned against another tree to watch them.
-
Diwali said "No, all I did was see you. And most wolves don't live in a tree."
-
"I don't live in it. I just enjoy the view." Kiara told him with a smile. "Here are your mice by the way." She added, taking the mice by the tails out of her bag. Perhaps it would be easier to give him the satch, but it was her prized possession so she preferred to just give him the mice.
-
Diwali took the mice and said "Thank you." He then put the mice into a bag he had with him. He asked "Is there anything else I can do for you?"
-
Kiara blushed slightly at his politeness and shook her head before standing on the branch. "No. I'm good. Thanks!" Kiara cheered, giving a charming smile before leaping out the tree. She landed on her feet, bending her knees and putting her hands in front of her to lessen the impact. Then she got up and joined Russle.
"Wipe that smirk off your face." She ordered. "I think he likes up you." Russle teased. Kiara blushed slightly, growling at Russle. "You said you'd back off." She growled. "No, my human self said I'd back off. This is my wolf talking." He told her. Kiara rolled her eyes before grabbing the rope and dragging the moose down the path with Russle's help. -
Diwali looked at Kiara walk away. Winston and Darrick came to him in hybrid form and sang "Diwali and Kiara sitting in a tree." Diwali shouted "Shut up!"
-
Kiara looked over at the tree when she heard him yell, causing Russle to chuckle. "What's so funny?" Kiara growled. "I'm not allowed to say anything." Russle teased. "What's. So. Funny!?!" Kiara demanded. "It sounds like Diwali's friends have the same idea I do." Russle teased. Kiara rolled her eyes as they dragged the moose along.
