Cassandra howled at the Center of the cave, calling everyone for lunch. Annie brought the deer meat to the cave and placed it on the clean plank of wood they used as a table. Everyone gathered around while the roasted meat was cut into five equal pieces and split. The wolves ate their meat, discussing important events in the pack. "After lunch, we found a new territory we wish to explore to find moose." Kiara told them. "Where is it?" Cassady asked. "Near the Feather Fighter's territory." Kiara replied. "Make sure to ask permission then. We don't want any misunderstandings." Cassady replied. Kiara nodded.
-
The Feather Fighters in question were sitting on their tree, eating the catch of the day their hunter, Nathan had gotten them. Today's catch was trout from the river.
-
After lunch, Annie got to work cleaning the deer skin and using the fur to make more blankets. Richard got to work on a contract for the deal they were making with the Wazzane tribe. Russle and Kiara packed up for their trip.
Kiara traveled by tree, swinging and running across the branches. Russle walked on the grassy path, holding a small bag with their equipment. "Is there a particular reason why we picked the moose territory near the Feather Fighter's territory?" Russle asked. "I mean, we found that larger territory near the river that's closer to our own territory." He continued. "Well, I think the exercise is healthy. Also, we get to explore more along the way."
Kiara replied. She climbed down from the trees once they were coming close. "Or, you just want an excuse to talk to their Alpha, Diwali." Russle teased. "And what if I were? Would that be your buisness?" Kiara asked as they walked down the path. "Not really. But is Curiousity a crime?" He asked. "I suppose not." Kiara replied as they approached the territory. Kiara bowed her head in respect as Russle kneeled to show respect. "We are here to request permission to hunt in an area near your territory." Kiara reported in a respectful voice to the tree above. -
Diwali saw Kiara of the Dodson Pack. He said to the others "You all stay here. I have to take care of something." He changed to animal form and flew down. One the tribes members, Winston said "He's gonna go see his girlfriend."
Diwali flew down and changed back to human form. He asked "What is it that you wish to hunt?" -
"We found some moose territory near here." Kiara explained. She would offer to share whatever they hunted as part of their trade with the Feather Fighters, however she knew that they didn't eat moose. "Since it's near your territory, we just wanted to make sure it wouldn't push boundaries to hunt there." She added. Russle knew better than to tease in front of a pack alpha, so he kept quiet about any remarks he had.
-
Diwali thought for a moment and said "Alright, though it would be advantageous if you could, during your hunts, find some mice or other small mammals. We've been eating nothing but fish and corn for the last 2 weeks."
-
"Very well. Thank you." Kiara replied, giving a charming smile before nodding her head in respect. Then she and Russle walked away. "Where would we find the mice?" Russle asked. "I believe there is a grassland surrounding the Moose Territory. Rumour has it there's a group of thieves that hunt there, but they mainly hunt at the evening and mornings. We should be safe." Kiara told him. Russle nodded as they approached the territory. Kiara climbedup the trees to hide and Russle hid behind a rock as they watched the moose.
-
Diwali flew back up the tree and said "Sorry, the wolves need permission to hunt for moose." Winston said "You mean you wanted to talk to your girlfriend." "She's not my girlfriend." protested Diwali. Winston's brother, Darrick, retorted "Dude, she comes by the most often and you're the only one she wants to talk to."

A moose walked slowly under the tree Kiara hid in. Russle signaled to Kiara who leapt out of the tree and landed onto the moose, causing it to fall to its side. Kiara stabbed it in the heart with her claws. "Rest in peace creature." She whispered to respect the creature's sacrifice before ripping out her claws to clean them. "Shouldn't we have hunted for moose on the way back?" Russle asked, wondering how they were going to carry it. "Hand me the ropes." Kiara ordered.
Russle nodded and handed her the ropes. She grabbed some logs and tied the moose onto them before tying two ropes onto the structure. "Now we can drag it behind us." She told him, handing him the other rope before grabbing her own. They then proceeded to carry the moose towards the grasslands.
