Tina nodded. "Which way to your house?" She asked, pushing. His wheel chair down the sidewalk.

Johnnie looked around, then pointed north

Tina nodded and went that way.

They arrived home, then Johnnie pulled out his keys. He tried to reach the lock, but he wouldn't get up

Tina took the keys. She opened the door before giving them back.

Johnnie Welles through the mess. There was chips bags and dirty clothes all over, he felt embarrassed. His cheeks flushed as he wheeled to his room

Tina looked around. By habit, she cleaned up the living room while waiting for Johnnie.

Johnnie changed into his dress shirt and skinny jeans. It was the best clothes he had. He grabbed his credit card, then his pocket knife. He held OT in his lap, staring at it. The blood on it was splotchy and dry, but he remembered each cut vividly.

Tina walked to Johnnie's room when she was done and saw him holding a knife. "What do you need that for?" She asked, coming in to see blood on the knife. Tina's eyes widened in surprise as she studied the knife in his lap.

Johnnie threw the knife "Nothing! Nothing! What do you mean?" He was good as hiding his emotions, so he held back his tears.

Tina picked up the knife and studied it. "Why does this have blood on it?" Tina asked in concern, holding the knife so he could see it.

Johnnie stared at Tina, silent. He had to say something. If he didn't, she would become suspicious. "I use that knife for... Uh... Cooking "

"Cooking?" Tina asked, not buying it. She's seen steaks and chicken with blood. But not enough to stain a knife like this. Besides. The knife would have to be cleaned and sterilized after every use. So blood shouldn't have stained it. Finally, pocket knifes weren't made for cooking. "Ok. So you're soooo manly that you'd act this nervous about knowing how to cook? I think that's pretty cool." Tina replied, pretending to buy it, for now. However she would look more into this.

Johnnie let out a sigh of relief, then looked at Tina "Do you want to go to the restaurant, or McDonalds?"
