"Cause of me?" Connor asked softly,sensing something was up

"No. You aren't making me upset." He told Connor. Connor didn't deserve to feel bad about this. It wasn't Connor's fault. "My boyfriend broke up with me... So I'm going through a hard time." Barry explained to Connor, making up a story that was near to the truth but wouldn't make Connor upset.

"Oh" he said softly

"It's Okay." Barry told him. "Is your head okay?" Barry asked.

"It-it just hurts" he said drowsily

Barry desperately wanted to say something cheeky and charming. However he held his tongue as he carried Connor into the kitchen. "This one fell down the stairs. He was looking for you." Barry told Travis, putting Connor down on a chair. He wanted to kiss Connor so bad... But he took a deep breath and left the kitchen. Kate sighed and followed him.

Scott continued "I wasn't expecting to see you guys here. What are you doing?"

"Well..." Jenna began awkwardly, looking over at Jason and Wendy, wondering what to say.

Jason wasn't sure what to say either, so Wendy stepped in and said "We're all hanging out, as friends." Scott said "Oh."

Travis scolded his brother. Connor just hung his head and listened. Travis handed him a muffin and helped him back to their room

"Do you want to hang out with us? I can get you a pair of roller skates." Jenna offered.

Scott said "I don't know. I'm not really a good skater. And I don't want to intrude on you all." Jason said "Don't worry, I'm not really a good skater either."

"Barry, you can't just shut him out. He needs you!" Kate lectured. "He doesn't even know who I am." Barry replied. "And he won't if you keep lying. He will get his memory back if you explain it to him." Kate replied. "No. I've heard plenty of actual times where something like this happens. When they loose their memory of someone they love, and trying to get them to love you again makes them push the memory away. They never remember and the shock makes them uncomfortable and they try to return to the last part of the life they can remember." Barry told Kate. "I don't want him to go through that shock, guilt, or pain. He's too sweet to deal with that, and he would try to force feelings he no longer has... I can't do that to him." Barry sighed. "So what? You're just gonna leave him? Leave us?" Kate asked. "Yeah. Yeah, I am. This is a sign. A sign that I should stay loyal to my family and my goals." Barry told her. "You're a coward! And a jerk!" Kate told Barry. Barry nodded. "I know." He replied, and without another word, he walked away. Kate growled and through a book that was on the hallway's shelf at him. He didn't respond and just returned to the basement.

Connor was happily eating muffins in the room and frowned when GE heard arguing. Travis was in the bathroom. Connor heard everything and bit his lip. He was the reason everyone was mad

Kate calmed down before returning to the kitchen. She saw Connor and blinked. "How much of that did you hear?" She asked, guilt instantly stabbing her in the chest.
