Jason said "Yeah, it's pretty cool. I like seeing all the nice people." Mrs. Shador said "That's nice. It's good to see the bakery being run by such nice people." She then thought for a moment and said "I hate to ask but I heard all the teenagers that work there are adopted. Is that true?"

"Yes. Miss. Mackerie is our guardian. Her father was an orphan who helped her mother make the bakery big. So she adopted us as a tribute to his memory." Jenna explained.

Mrs. Shador said "I see. That's so nice of Cinnamon." Jason asked "You know Ms. Mackerie?" "Yes, she was my friend in high school." she answered.

Jenna smiled. "What was she like back then?" Jenna asked, imagination Miss. Mackerie as a teenager.

Mrs. Shador said "Oh, she was a lot like she is today. Nice, open-minded, a lot of energy. Not like me. She would show up everyday smelling like the cinnamon rolls the bakery makes, so much so you would think she had perfume of it."

Jenna smiled. "She uses a red food dye and cinnamon mix as lip stick. She taught me and Kate how to make makeup using berries, nuts, leaves, spices, and dyes." Jenna replied. Jenna herself normally used strawberry juice and sugar for her own lip gloss. Kate normally used a caramel and salt blend.

Mrs. Shador said "I guess she really did have something like that." Just then the door opened and Mr. Shador and Wendy came in. Mr. Shador said "Hey honey, we're home." Jason said "Hi, Wendy." Wendy said "H-hey guys."

"Hi Wendy!" Jenna cheered with a smile.

Mr. Shador asked "Were you having friends over, Wendy?" Wendy said "Yeah, I am. Let's head to my room guys." Mr. Shador said "Wait, don't you wanna introduce us?"

"I'm Jenna Dott/Mackerie. It's a pleasure to meet you!" Jenna cheered, shaking his hand.

Jason replied "My name's Jason." He shook Jason's hand and said "Nice to meet both of you." He also said "You kids have fun. Be a good host, Lil' Muffin." Wendy just turned completely red and hid her head with her hood. She said "Dad, I said not to call me that in front of people."

Jenna giggled at the nick name. "Hey, just be happy he didn't say it in front of Kate or Barry. They would Never let it go." Jenna sighed as they walked up the stairs. She noticed Wendy's blushing and smiled as they arrived to the top floor.

Both of Wendy's parents chuckled. Jason grabbed the pizza and followed the others. Wendy walked past a room that said Do Not Enter. Jason looked at it but kept following them to Wendy's room. The room was pink and had a queen sized bed. Nothing was really out there or anything, it just seemed normal.

Travis put up the dishes humming to himself. Hus heart jumped when he saw Kate. That only happened with two other girls and they didn't click with him, though unlike the others they were nice and a actual people. Not blonde fakes.
