Yeah it'll be fun!
Oh don't worry about it!
Should we start at the diner? Oh I was also going to ask should Heather's family and friends be there? Like she's meeting everyone all at once? -
Yeah starting at the dinner would be the right place to start, it just makes sense to meet the friends and family of the person they're engaged to.
-
Okay, do you want me to start?
-
You can start since I'm horrible at responding.
-
K I'll start in a few.
-
Katen stood in front of the mirror in the room, she brushed her hands over the nice dress. She turned her body looking at the back and smoothed it again, she played with her hair that was straight but nowhere near perfect. She walked out of the room, looking around seeing no one she stood up on her tippy toes and spun in a fun circle as she walked, "Heather!" She called loudly knowing that no one was here yet. She liked her new dress, she had bought it recently and this wasn't its original purpose but she wanted to wear it and this seemed like a good time, "Come look at my pretty new dress!" She said with a laugh in her voice. She wasn't nervous to meet Heather's family and friends but she knew that they were all important to her so she was ready to be on her best behavior.
-
Heather was stuck in the bathroom, her fingers combing through her loose locks that framed her features well. She wanted the evening to be close to perfect to please her relatives. The pink-haired woman adjusted her red velvet dress, that laid tight around her rest and fell in the midst of her thighs. Heather posed from side to side, hoping to look present from all angles. Though, once her name was called from her Katen, she took a deep breath and exited that bathroom. Walking down the small hallway that led into the conjoined room, Heather glanced towards Katen, a grin on her peach lips appeared. ''You look beautiful, Katen,'' Heather complimented, admiring the woman before her in the rather well-made dress.
-
Katen goofed around until Heather walked into the room. She smiled at her and slowly made her way over to her, she slowly wrapped her arms around the waist of the lady, "You look stunning, my love." She said and kissed her forehead gently, "This is a new dress right? I don't think I've seen you wear it before." She said quietly. "You nervous? They should be arriving soon, right?" She asked with a smiled.
-
Heather smiled at her lover's visible affection as she responded in return, wrapping her arms around Katen's neck. ''Thank you, Katen,'' She said with a grin on her lips. ''It's a new dress, I'm trying to impress my our guests after all,'' Heather mumbled, fumbling with Katen's locks of hair, nervously. ''Of course, I'm nervous, Katen, I really want them to like you and I really want to inherit my family's company,'' She said, taking a deep breath to calm her shaking nerves.
-
Katen moved from side to side slowly to her own little rhythm, "No need to thank me, love, just being honest. Now, why do you have to impress your family I'm sure they'll love you." She joked with a small laugh in her voice, "I'll be on my best behavior." She said seriously, "I'll stand by you no matter what, I promise you that." She said quietly and rested her forehead against her partners.
-
Heather inhaled through her nose, exhaling through her mouth. ''They may love me but, what about you? I really want them to like you and I know you'll on your best behavior,'' She said, following along with Katen's rhythm. Heather combed her fingers into Katen's hair, taking a deep breath. ''I know, I know,'' Her voice low, as she moved her hands from her hair to rest her palms on Katen's cheeks.
-
Katen bit her lip and while she didn't share much in her lovers anxiety she could symathize with it. "My love, I know their opinions are important but don't stress over it, while I do hope they like me you know I don't let others opinions of me get in my head the way others do." She spoke quietly and softly, she kept a soft smile on her face as Heather played with her hair. When her hands moved to Katens cheeks her smile widened a bit and she pressed her lips against her lovers as a doorbell rang through the home, "Now, go greet your guests." She said and gave her another quick kiss, "You've got this." She said with a wink.
-
Heather took a deep breath, nodding as she released herself from Katen's grasp. ''I'll see you downstairs, once you're done admiring yourself in the mirror,'' Heather hummed, giggling. She left the bedroom, the doorbell ringing eagerly. ''Coming, coming!'' Heather called, her heels clattering with the steps as she raced towards the door.
Opening the door, she was greeted with her mother's smiling face and gave her a quick hello. With that followed the rest of her friends and family members, entering the small house. Small chatter illuminated the home as Heather briskly walked around the house greeting the guest. It was simple chatter the erupted anxiousness in her heart and caused her to twindle her thumbs. -
Katen laughed lightly begrudgingly letting her lover walk away, "I'll be down in a few!" She called after her, she picked up her phone from its spot in the dresser typing a quick text to her sister telling her to stop spamming her phone and just send the stuff she wanted Katen to look at in an email. She dropped her phone back on the dresser and looked at herself once more in the mirror and shrugged, she played with her hair as she walked out of the room. She pulled all her hair over one shoulder and started walking down the hall. She wasn't nervous about meeting people but she was a little worried someone would recognize her, she wasn't purposely hiding it or anything but this wouldn't be the best time for it to come up. She still wasn't too worried considering her family hung out with, generally, an entirely different social group and she wasn't nearly as in the spotlights as some of her siblings. She shrugged it off and went down the stairs a little hop in her steps.
-
Heather was visiting old time memories with her mother, father and the nice old woman who took care of in her early stages of life. Laughing and chattering, Heather gazed at the stairs, a pleasant grin on her lips. Her heart always skipped a beat when seeing Katen, whether she was all dolled up or simply being her usual self. ''Oh, here comes little Heather's lover,'' Her mother cooed, as Heather shushed her. ''Mom,'' Heather mumbled, rolling her eyes as a faint blush tinted her cheeks. ''But, I'm glad you remember Katen,'' She added, her eyes shifting from Katen to her mother.
