Katie shyly hugged back " Travis you did very well" she said though Dixie could see a flash of heartbreak in Katie's eyes ((what if that is also a reason she let's val on her? Because she likes Katie and doesn't want her to be sad?))
.Travis being a clueless dumb--- didn't notice it and just grinned goofily -
nah its good and yeah )
Dixie gave a sympathetic smile at her but hugged Travis "No I'm just a lucky one" -
She smiled softly "you are" and gathered her books and when Travis offered to help she said "I got it" though she didn't and walked off getting red marks on her already scarred up arms that Travis somehow didn't catch. And didn't realize he was the reason for them ((please stay??))

Dixie noticed and thought of a plan. Dixie kissed Travis's cheek, "You know she likes you right? You can leave me if you want and go to her..." Dixie said self conscious

"What? No she doesn't . only you like me" said Travis while the entire female population mentally steamed"bulls---!"
Katie struggled to her locker then shoved her books in there.

He didn't respond.

Katie got there before the others and sat at a lone table. Connor wasn't alowwed to sit with the popular crowd and his brother because people on Dixie's clique didn't like him. When he AMD Travis got to lunch together, instead of Travis sitting with the popular crowd and Connor sitting with the troublemakers they plopped themselves on either side of the young girl so she wouldn't be able to leave. That's when Dixie walked in with her crowd. Travis and Connor were interogatting her on what had happened with her in the last three years -
Dixie shooed off her group so they wouldn't pester Katie and Dixie went and sat down with the twins and Katie smiling

Travis had just asked Katie "what's the biggest thing that's happened?" And Katie said "oh well-uh I'm no longer a virgin"
Connor asked curiously "who was it??" And Katie stared at her lap and mumbled "Raped by Daniel Blackwood in the alley by Goode High" Travis' blue eyes flared but he kept his calm . When Dixie got there after he had asked the question he smiled at her and kissed her cheek. Now Travis put a hand soothingly on Katie's back . -
Dixie smiled but watched Travis's hand warily not having picked up nothing but Daniel Blackwood, having knowing him very well she decided to pay him a visit and interrogate him "Ill be right back babe'

"Where ya going love?" He asked as he soothingly rubbed little circles on her back like a friend would and Connor patted her shoulder

"JUst to visit an old friend and went to where Daniel went to school and stormed in his class room with it being an all boys school all eyes were on her and she got so many cat calls

Daniel was a tall boy with black hair and dark grey eyes with freckles. He was handsome but a douche. He was a catcaller .
