The child stayed silent for a few seconds "Cross" he finally said, taking one hand off his hood to fiddle with his scarf

"Pleasure to meet you Cross.Now,lets get you off the ground."Zero said softly as she held out a hand.

Cross watched her warily but didnt move to take her hand

"It's okay..You can trust me.."Zero said as her eyes turned golden for a moment.

He slowly reached out which his gloved hand and grabbed her her, moving to try to stand

Zero helped him up"Are you hurt?"

"Im fine" Cross said a little too quickly, clearly avoiding putting any weight on his right leg

Zero looked at his right"You're hurt..I can heal it if you trust me."

Cross stiffened slightly and shook his head carefully, making sure to stay hidden in his hood "its fine

"Alright."Zero said as she frowned"I can tell that you've bern through a lot."

Cross blinked at her in surprise before he asked "why are you trying to help me?"

Zero shrugged her shoulders"I don't even know myself..I guess its because I went through a lot of pressure and I just quit being heartless.."

Cross seemed to frown and started twisting his scarf in his hands as kohaku turned to leave

"Its been rough for me.."Zero mumbled before looking at Kohaku"Where're you going?"

Kohaku looked at her "im going to find shelter. Its going to rain soon" he said, noticing tge way Cross gripped his scarf tighter
