Kohaku followed and growled softly when he saw what looked like a human child at first glance, his eyes quickly going to the knife the child was pointing at them as he backed up against a tree out of fear

"Woah,Woah...Put the knife down..We won't hurt you."Zero said as her tail unconsciously raised up,the sharp end glinting.She quickly noticed before wrapping her tail around herself.

The child simply stared at her fearfully from under his hood, only the red and white lights that served as his eyes visible

Zero then changed into her human form before slowly walking towards him before singing a soothing song.

The child tried to move further back but couldnt due to the tree behind him

Zero soon kneeled down infront of him,gently removing the knife."Poor child,Are you hurt?"She said,her voice full of concern.

Kohaku frowned when he heard the child whimper softly and watched as the child pulled his hood further over his face to hide, visibly shaking

Zero frowned before she started humming a tune.

The child slowly stopped shaking and peeked out at her warily, but didnt remove the hood

Zero gave him ressurring smile.

A few seconds later the knife Zero had taken shattered in to shards or red magic that quickly fadded

Zero continued to smile.

"Who're you?" the child asled carefully. Kohaku frowned slightly as he watched the white light shink slight, knowing that wasnt something humans could do

"My name's Zero,yours,?"Zero said.
