Noelle chuckled, her lips curved into a pleasant smile. It was far too easy to have this girl wrapped around her finger. Noelle's skin tingled against the woman's touch, eyes temporarily closed for a moment until the warmth left her. She watched Wendy lay down on the bed, her following after the woman. Noelle straddled Wendy's hips, her hazel eyes staring into Wendy's, her eyes full of greed and a need for emotion, a need to feel.
Yeah.)) -
(I sent the message.)
-
Wendy closed her eyes as she laid in the bed. She heard Noelle's phone ring inside the bathroom but ignored it as she pulled the covers over herself, falling asleep.
-
Noelle finished her shower quickly, adoring the loving scent of her freshly washed hair. Humming Noelle slipped on her underwear and button up her redshirt. She grabbed her phone, sending a loving goodnight text to her husband. Walking out of the bathroom while using the towel to dry her brown locks. Her lips curved into a smile at the sleeping woman. Snickering, Noelle walked towards the bed, sitting on the other side. She gave Wendy a peck on the lips before slipping into bed. Turning off her phone, Noelle hid the device underneath the bed. ''Night, darling,'' Noelle hummed before driting off to sleep, holding the woman close.
-
Wendy smiled as Noelle whispered in her ear. She faded into a dream, dreaming about the day she went to court after being charged with rape. Her victim dropped the charges and she was let free. BUt Wendy never forgot walking out of the courthouse to a blinding series of flashing cameras in her face and crowds of reporters shouting judgment after judgement. Question after question.
-
Noelle shifted from side to side in the midst of the night. Her hour or two of sleep was interrupted as she forced her eyes open. Noelle groaned, sitting up in bed. Noelle eyed the woman in her arms, the alcohol forming a headache. Careful, Noelle removed herself from Wendy, standing. She snagged her packet of cigarettes, lighter and phone. She sat in the chair by the table, having the window cracked open for the smoke to leave the room.
Noelle lit herself a cigarette, taking a drag as she scrolled through social media, at times texting a friend who was in a similar situation. Her co-worker, a name she cannot remember for was someone she too slept with one night, both talking about the vacant feeling in their chest. Noelle breathed out the smoke, blowing it in the direction of the window. Bored, Noelle bit her bottom lip as she saw pictures of her husband and children. Passing through the media, Noelle took longing glances at Wendy and made sure not to wake the woman up. -
Wendy stirred in her sleep as the flashing cameras flashed through her dreams. Dreams of how men in dark alleys treated her when she was a runaway child. Dreams of the men who threw her in the river after raping her. Wendy stirred as the drowsy memory of the currents pussing her through dirty, wild, polluted water. Water and smoke filling her lungs as she washed onto the shore of a waste dump. Luckily the man who worked there was a kind man who took her in.
-
Noelle raised her brow, standing from her place. She took a grip on Wendy's shoulder, pushing it gently. ''Wake up, Wendy,'' Noelle said, taking another drag of the cigarette, sure not to get the smoke near her face. Her chest hurt seeing the girl in pain. She took a seat beside Wendy's form . ''Wake up, darling,'' Noelle called again, brows furrowed in concern.
-
Cameras flashed again in Wendy's dream. "Wendy? Why did the court let you go?" A reporter asked. "Lock the Hoe in jail!" A mob shouted. "Lock the Hoe in jail! Lock the hoe in jail! Wake up Wendy!" The mob yelled. Wendy blinked in confusion as her hyperventilating slowed. "Who let out the pedoplie!" Someone yelled. "She's just a child! Wake up, darling." A woman yelled. Wendy blinked in confusion as the memory was filled with nothing but the fading flash of cameras. Wendy blinked and pushed herself up, seeing Noelle with a concerned expression and a cigarette in her hand.
-
''Darling,'' Noelle called, clearing her throat. A cough passed her lips, and she sighed. ''Wendy, what happened?'' She called to her. ''You seemed to have such a horrid dream, is everything alright,'' Noelle wrapped her an arm around the girl. She made sure not to burn anything with the cigarette as she hugged the girl with her arm. ''Darling, you can tell me,'' Noelle said, brows furrowed. Broken Noelle thought, as she held Wendy close. She was sure something tragic happened in the girl's past, and she was broken but, feeling, unlike Noelle.
-
Wendy blinked. "I-I'm okay. Just... Just a bad dream. It happens sometimes." Wendy replied, tucking her hair behind her ears. "I... I ran away from my home when I was little. My parents... My parents locked me out of the house... I wondered off to follow a stray dog." Wendy sighed, laughing at her foolishness as a child. "I was thrown in the stream by a gain that attacked me... And... I was found and taken in by a family. But I still get nightmares..." Wendy told Noelle. She wanted Noelle to know the truth. Just not the whole truth. Wendy wiped tears from her eyes, not wanting to seem like a whimpering child.
-
''Darling,'' Noelle hummed separating from the hug. She took a drag from the cigarette, eyes closed. ''I'm so sorry that happened to you,'' She said soon after, brows furrowed. Noelle took a hold of Wendy's hand, placing her hand on the bed. Noelle used her hand to wipe Wendy's tears with a soft pleasant smile. ''How about you go take a shower and I'll order us some popcorn so we can watch a movie, any movie you'll like darling. If you want anything else just say the word,'' Noelle hummed, kissing the woman's cheek.
-
Wendy smiled. "Yeah. Good idea." Wendy replied, smiling. She got her clothes together and walked into the bathroom.
-
Noelle hummed, calling for room service. Once finished calling and having a conversation for quite some time. Noelle had turned on the television searching for a good movie. All were on was depressing movies and some shows. She decided on watching the fun, cheerful Sponge Bob since the sponge was enjoyable to watch for all ages. Noelle smiled, as she scrolled through her phone, listening to the laughing sponge.

Am I a bad person? Wendy asked the woman staring back at her in the mirror. No... Just someone who did something stupid as a teenager... She told herself. But everyone still sees me as a bad person. She muttered. If she knew... Would she think Im a bad person? Wendy wondered as she turned on the shower. She... She doesnt need to know. Wendy decided.
