Youre late. Dallys Boss told her as she entered the resturant. Yes... I know. Im sorry. She replied, taking off her coat. Underneath was her uniform. A red crop top with a white knee length skirt and tall red leather boots. She put her hair in a bun as she was giving her first orders to take to their tables. Hey! This isnt what I ordered! A customer yelled. Im sorry. Let me take that back then. She told him.
I would like the tomatoes soup. Someone ordered. Sorry mama. Were out of that today. She told the woman as she served other tables. A woman who walked in caught her eye as she served the tables. What kind of restaurant runs out of tomatoe soup? She asked as the chef rang a bell to tell Dally the food was ready. One Second! She told him politely before turning to the woman asking for tomatoe soup.
Well I could get you some Italian wedding soup, or chicken noodle soup. Dally told her as the bell rang again. One second!!! She said again, raising her voice. No! I need tomatoe soup. Isnt there anything you can do? She asked as the chef pounded on the bell. Alright Im coming! Dally yelled, walking to the chef. On the way, a boy grabbed her arm. Hey gorgeous! How are ya? The man asked. He was hanging out with two friends. They were clearly drunk.
Get your hand off me! Dally yelled, tossing him off. Common! I thought you liked that kinda stuff! He teased. Dally grabbed his shirt and whispered to him and his friends. Only with woman. Youre close, but not close enough. She told him before letting him go and walking to the chef as the mans friends applauded her roast. Table 43 Needs you to take their order. The chef told her, handing her a stack of plates.
Dally served the plates to the customers they belonged to. Then gave the table with the wrong order their new order. Then made her way to table 43. She saw the woman from earlier sitting there and straightened up her uniform before making her way to the table. Hello Miss. I am Wendy Dallace and Ill be your server today. She told the woman. -
Noelle watched the poor waitress zip around the room, her brows furrowed. She gave the woman a silent respect for she dealt with drunken men while Noelle would've used the men to get herself a drink or two before, excusing herself. Licking her ruby lips watching the men with covetous eyes, until she heard a voice calling out to her from her peering gaze.
Noelle bit her bottom lip in anticipation in the presence of the woman. She crossed her legs, making sure to have the waitress get a clear view of her lower thigh and folded her arms accordingly. Noelle hummed her eyes glancing over the menu before her. ''What do you suggest?'' Noelle questioned, using one hand to open the menu. She tapped her nude-colored nails against the dessert menu. ''I do like sweets,'' Noelle hummed, her voice rather seductive. ''but,'' Noelle snickered, glancing over at the menu. ''I do like spicy foods,'' She added. ''What would you think I should get? I am visiting from a small town, and I would love to have something rather risky,'' Noelle said, soon after.
Her eyes darted over the alcoholic beverages, eyebrows raised. ''Perhaps, a nice drink as well, what do you think I should get, pretty lady?'' Noelle asked with a quick wink. Noelle had been cheating on her husband for years after giving birth to Alianna. She became quite the seductive woman, and she was rather proud. To have a man providing money for her children, masked by the word of love while having love affairs with woman and men alike to keep her company. -
Dally blushed as the woman flirted with her. She bit her bottom lip as she tapped her pen against her chin. Well... We do have sweat chilly. That would be spicy and sweet. People normally order a coke or beer with that. However I personally prefer cherry vodka. Dally told her, blurting the last part.
Not... Not that Im an alcoholic or anything. She added. She had dealt with judgement from many people for her personal habits. But most judgement came from her past. Though this woman probably didnt know about her past. I could recommend something else if you like. She added, blushing as she studied the woman. -
''Sweet chili?'' Noelle hummed, satisfied with Wendy's reaction as she closed her menu. Handing it over to the woman. ''Sounds rather delicious,'' Noelle said, drumming her fingers against the table. With her words ringing her ears, Noelle chuckled laughed at the woman's words. ''Darling,'' Noelle said, leaning back in her seat. ''You're no alcoholic, it's always nice to have a drink every so often,'' Her words light and sweet. ''What makes you an alcoholic is the constant of drinking, hour after hour,'' She mused, tapping her foot.
The woman licked her lips and cocked her head. ''I'll like a sweet chili and cherry vodka, please,'' the woman hummed. ''Oh, and if those guys of there,'' She flicked her finger to the drunken group of men. ''Let me know, I know a trick or two to get them to stop bothering you,'' Noelle hummed, winking once again. ''Perhaps we could go get a drink after you finish your work hours if that's what you like,'' Noelle said, unbuttoning her coat revealing her red button-up top. -
Dally smiled. Okay. She agreed as the chef rang te bell again. See you soon. Dally blurted before walking to the chefs counter. Im gonna break this bell one day. She muttered to the chef as she took another pile of dishes. Youre lucky youre my bosses daughter. You know that? The chef sighed.
Whatever. Table 43 would like some sweet chilli with a cup of cherry vodka. Dally told the chef. Thats am odd combination. The chef replied. Maybe you shouldnt judge someone before you know them. Dally replied, talking more about herself than the woman. She smiled confidently before serving her other customers. The chef rolled his eyes at her. Once Dally was done, she picked up the plate for number 43. Here you are. She cheered, serving up the bowl of chilly and cup of cherry vodka. The chilli came with fries and tortilla chips. The vodka had whip cream and a cherry on it with cinnamon on top of the whip cream so that it was a bit spicy too. -
''Oh thank you, Wendy,'' Noelle hummed to the woman. She took a fry, sure to bite the fry in front of her. ''Delicious,'' She said, licking the salt from her lips. ''I'll be sure to enjoy the meal, and try not to get drunk,'' Noelle added, jokingly. Soon she took a sip of the drink, eyes towards the window to catch glimpse of the other men and woman walking down the streets. Her lips parted, with her eyes narrowed as she watched them. Smiling, she was sure Wendy was to be yet another pawn in her useless game.
-
Wendy smiled and wrote on the paper as she studied the woman. Whats your name? She blurted, blushing a bit a she tucked her hair behind her ears. She blinked when the woman stared at another couple. She felt a bit flustered and anxious. She was familiar with this feeling and smiled as she bit her bottom lip.
-
''Oh my name,'' Noelle turned to the woman, the smile remaining on her lips. Naturally, Noelle would've chosen an alias in case her pawns read her books. Though, she felt a sensation, almost a burning desire in her chest. 'Noelle Carson is my name,'' She said, after a moment's hesitation. She bit her bottom lip, fluttering her eyelashes. ''Though friends and family call me Noe or Elle, you can call me whatever, Darling,'' Noelle hummed, eating yet another fry.
-
Dally smiled. Okay Elle. My friends call me Dally. She replied, her smile changing to a smirk. She wrote on the paper before folding a piece of paper and tearing it off of the notebook. She placed the paper with her number written on it on the table. Then the bell began to ring again. Enjoy your meal. Dally told Noelle before walking away.
-
''Too easy,'' Noelle mumbled underneath her breath while examining the slip of paper. She took note of the written numbers opening her phone. Fingers tapped at the screen while inserting the contact. Noelle listed Wendy underneath co-workers as she did with many of those she had affairs with. The list long and continuous she shuddered in shock at her husband's contact number flashing on the screen.
With quick fingers, she answered, making sure to not say too much aloud. ''Hey,'' Noelle croaked, faking a yawn for him to hear. The conversation droned forth as the two chatted. She could hear her children talking away in the background while he continued to ramble on of their activity list. ''Alright, Braden,'' Noelle hummed after a few moments. ''I want to eat alright, I'll talk to you later,'' Noelle said, eyes scanning around the restaurant for Wendy. ''Yeah, bye I love you,'' The conversation was over once Noelle's eyes found Wendy.
Thankful for the woman being out of ear-range Noelle ate her meal as some men and woman came to chat. Entranced by her beauty, Noelle did her best to rail in her prey. Others looked for a friend while Noelle searched for a good time. None of the folk she met within the hour were someone she wanted to have frequent meetings with. Noelle brushed her fingers through her hair as her meal was practically gone and her eyes tired. All she wanted was a sense of feeling alive. Time and time again, her eyes always found Wendy, and she didn't mind. Quite the pretty girl and rather fitting for Noelle but, how long will this fake relationship last, Noelle wanted something she could get caught with but, this heartbreaker was too wise. Noelle leaned in her seat, playing videos provided for her while she waited for Wendy to finish her shift. -
Once Wendy was done her shift she got changed into a black v-neck dress shirt and jeans that went just past her knees. She pulled on leather boots before grabbing her purse and letting her hair loose. Where are you going? Her father asked. To the bar. Wendy replied, walking out of the staff room. She saw that Noelle was still there even though it had been an hour since they talked. Wendy smiled and tucked her hair behind her ears before walking out of the crowd. She didnt want to seem desperate or anything, so she walked to the doors to leave.
-
Noelle watched Wendy go to the doors and smiled. She stood from her place, paying for her meal before reaching the doors. Noelle buttoned her coat once reaching the door, clicking her heels against the floor. ''Glad I waited,'' Noelle hummed. ''Hey afterward we can stop by my hotel room, sounds good?'' Noelle whispered, opening the door, shivering at the blast of cold. ''It'll get chilly out,'' She mentioned, standing outside. ''Especially past twelve, and us girls,'' Noelle hummed, eyes scanning down the sidewalk. ''Should be careful that late at night, no?'' She added adjusting her knee-length boots.
-
Wendy nodded and smiled. She shivered a bit as she pulled on her jacket. Which way? Wendy asked, looking around. The sun was beginning to set and people were heading to their homes. Excuse me ladies. The chef said as he walked out the door. Wendy frowned as she moved out of the way and got into his car.
-
Noelle bit her bottom lip, stepping aside and pointing in a general direction. ''This way, I heard there's a nice bar over there,'' Noelle hummed, she been there underneath other names knowing the workers well. The workers knew of the game she played with others but, didn't pay much mind. ''Best drinks in town,'' Noelle slurred, the taste of cherry vodka still on her tongue. Noelle began walking in the direction and hummed. ''So, tell me a bit about yourself,'' Noelle asked taking out a packet of cigarette and a lighter. Taking out the cancer stick, she lighting it and placed it in between her lips. Taking a drag, Noelle puckered her ruby lips, blowing softly the gas. Fluttering her eyelashes, she took the younger woman's features, admiring it well.
-
Wendy felt her heart beat as she heard Noelles question. She didnt want to tell the woman too much about herself. Because then she would regret hanging around with her. Well, I live on the outskirts of town. I used to live in the city. But... It was too crowded and noisy. So I moved to a quieter neighbourhood. My parents own the restaurant I work at. Wendy told Noelle as they walked to the hotel.
