Zander laughed. Gosh, he didn't know why people took satisfaction in this. He needed to help this kid escape from his colleagues as soon as he could. "What's your name, newbie?" Zander asked tauntingly. Zander's friends stirred, getting impatient at this small talk. Zander had to stall.

Some of Zander's friends snickered at Hope's timidness, an easy target. Zander could barely hold back his anger, at his friends for basically forcing Zander to pick on this kid, at himself for not speaking against them. Zander saw the food cart rolling by and took his chance, lifting a foot out 'accidentally' and knocking chocolate frogs and Every Flavor Beans all over his friend group. "Who did that?" "Who tripped the cart?" Voices chorused in anger. "It was Hope! It was the new kid!" A voice shrilled. In a flash, Zander realized he had made things worse. He grabbed Hope and began to run, not caring about his status anymore.

What was that? Farrah asked, sticking her head out the door to see a cart that fell on two older boys. You two Okay? She asked, snickering.
Ciana heard a ruckus outside and saw Zander running with a first year. She rolled her eyes and poked her head out the door. Whats going on here? She demanded, following Zander. -
Yoi sat there quitely getting out her mp3 player and putting in the earbuds

Genesis blinked at the commotion and stood up to see what had happened, smirking slightly in amusment
Hope yelped in surprise when he was pulled after the older male -
Yoi opened the door to see what happened that she could hear over her music. When she popped her head out she saw some people look at her then helped the boys up she then clowed the door again "dumb first year students" she said softly then turned her music all the way up

Belle looked outside to see two older boys. They looked angry. Who are they? Belle asked Farrah, who shrugged in response. Maybe you guys should close the door. Sarah suggested. Laura nodded. Those two are Slytherins. Its better to avoid them. Laura told them. Slytherins? Belle asked, sitting down as Farrah closed the door. Yeah. Slytherins are nasty, racist bigots. Most of them practice dark magic. Farrah told Belle. They hate muggles. Sarah added. Me too. Belle blurted. Why? Sarah asked, being fond of muggles. The only muggles I know care more about businesses, school, or research more than other people. Belle replied. Arent you a muggle? Farrah asked. Yeah. Howd you know? Belle asked. Because you didnt know how to get on the platform. Laura told me you asked my dad. Farrah replied.

"Nothing much," Zander replied to Ciana with Hope in tow. "Might've gained some new enemies, might have to rebuild my social reputation again. The usual." Zander found a compartment that was empty, or so he thought until he noticed Malory. He started to panic but calmed down when he realized it was just another first year. He sat a few seats away, pulling Hope down next to him. "Hey, I'm sorry about what happened back there," Zander said to Hope. "I'll make it up to you."

Hope sat down on the seat and curled his arms around himself. "You dont half to" he said quickly when his brain registered what the other said "it probably would have happened anyways with my dumb luck

Ciana rolled her eyes before closing the door. Zanders up to something. She told Genesis, sitting down. Zander and her were like Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter. She hated how he always picked on first years. Last year he went way too far.
Oh okay. Belle replied, frowning. Dont worry. Well still be friends if you end up in Slytherin. Sarah told her with a smile. The first muggleborn in Slytherin. That would be impressive! Laura added. Guys! Guys! She would get eaten alive in Slytherin! Farrah laughed. Nah. Give me a year or two and Ill be running the place. Belle told them. She smiled as they all laughed together. She was glad to have friends. -
Genesis huffed softly and sat down, running a hand through his hair "cant say im surprised

Ciana nodded. I wonder how many new students will be joining Ravenclaw this year. Ciana commented. Oh! I forgot to tell you! Candace is Head Girl of Ravenclaw. Ciana told Gene. Candace was Cianas big sister. And Johnny became the captain of our Quidditch team. She added. Ciana was the Seeker of the team. Her fire bolt was pretty old fashioned compared to Johnnys Nimbus 3000. But it was still a fire bolt and was pretty fast.

Malory glanced at the new pair who had entered the train car. She noticed immediately how one of them was a first year, and one of them a lot more confident, possibly mean, probably a slytherin. This may have been her first year, but she'd done her research. She kept a close eye on the two, especially the slytherin, but did not interfere.
"No, no, it's okay. Sometimes I do stupid things but I always make up for it. Tell you what, whenever you need a favor, you know who to call. It's good to have accomplices in high places, after all." Zander frowned, "But don't tell anyone, of course. I still have a reputation to uphold."
