Kiba sighed in relief before she swam out of the meeting room.

Xever tried to slither out of the room when he was stopped by the advisor's obnoxious daughter. She had a crush on him but as Xever already described, she was really self absorbed. She said "Hey, Xever." and he, begrudgingly said "Hi, Cass."

Kiba was soon stopped by a merman as she huffed at him,folding her arms."What do you want,Nick..."She said as she gave him a blank stare.The raven haired merman named Nick grinned"I just want to be your mate."He said.

Cass, short for Cassie, said "I couldn't help but notice you were staring at me the whole meeting. I mean how could you not?" Xever said "If I did, then it was purely by accident."

"I don't like you now leave me alone,please..."Kiba said and swam past him.Nick frowned before he swam away.

Cass laughed and said "You still are very funny." Xever said "I wasn't joking." and slithered passed her. She quietly said "He's into me."

Kiba swam up to the surface and stared up at the sky.She then started to sing,her sweet tune traveling through the sky.

Xever soon slithered away from the kingdom and into the jungle to a random location

Kiba then looked at the slowly setting sun and dived back under water and swam into a kelp field.She hummed as she knew this was a place were the mermaids and the mermen would spend their time together.

Xever sat near a tree, resting until the sun started to set. He then slithered back to the beach to wait for Kiba.

Kiba then swam back to the spot were her and Xever had met and hid behind a rock.She watched as the sun disappeared and soon stars appeared in the sky,the full moon making the water glow.She then started to sing softly.

Xever watched the sun go down and the moon come up, when he heard singing. He slithered over to where the singing was coming from.

Kiba continued to sing and was now sitting on the rock.

Xever came up near the rock and listened to Kiba's singing. He thought she was very beautiful.

Kiba then started to sing a forbidden love song as she began to think about Xever,not noticing that he was there.
