Xever said "My people are just like you're, I guess. Different yet same." He lay down on his stomach and asked "How is being the princess?"

"It's really tiring, especially when the male merfolk keep asking me to be their mate...."Kiba sighed out as she lazily moved her tail up and down.

Xever said "Tell me about it. All the girls want me but their either obsessed with themselves or they just want my money."

"I wasn't interested in the males... They're weren't really my type."Kiba said.

Xever said "I see. I gotta go. The advisor probably wants to scold me for disappearing again."

"Can we talk some more at night?.I enjoy your company."Kiba said and slipped back into the water and looked at him.

Xever said "Yeah, I would like that. Let's meet back here at this spot."

Kiba nodded her head and smiled before waving at him and dived back into the water.

Xever came back up and slithered away. He thought Kiba was kinda cute and really couldn't wait for their next meeting. He slithered all the way to the kingdom just in time for the advisor to drag him into a dressing room for an important meeting.

Kiba swam all the way back to her kingdom and was excited to see Xever again.As soon as she arrived to the kingdom,A guard lead her back inside for a meeting.

Said meeting was for the royal court to discuss a new ways to expand and modernize the kingdom.

"Why expand and modernize our kingdom?We should be happy with what we have..."Kiba mumbled under her breath as she waited for the meeting to be done and over with.

Xever could barely stay awake during his meeting. He kept trying to doze off several times but tried even harder to stay awake.

Kiba tried to stay awake to listen to the meeting but was struggling."This is so boring...."She muttered under her breath.

Xever kept fading in and out of consciousness. He thought Boredom. Increasing, By the second. Before he knew it though, the meeting was soon over.
