Randy laughed and fixed her hair. "Okay." Randy replied. "Maybe when we're done delivering these you can come with me to my house." Randy suggested, happy for the opportunity to make a new friend.

Pirine smiled "that would be great, you sure you wouldn't mind?" she asked with astonishment. She has never been offered something as grand as she was just offered. She was a little excited as if she got her life back on track though she was far from that.

"I don't mind. I'm glad to have a friend!" She cheered. Randy hoped that didn't sound desperate. "Of course, I already have many friends." She lied. "But the more the merrier!" She cheered.

Pirine chuckled a bit. She was always happy to be a friend of anybody's but they don't always want friendship in return. She took out her rusty knife and dropped it onto the ground. Afterwards, she grinned a bit for she was no longer alone.

After they were done, they walked to Randy's house. Her father and mother weren't home. "Moms probably at work still... Dad's out on a business trip." Randy told Pirine. She sat on the couch and tried not to let her sadness show. Her parents were barely ever at home. Work was always first.

Pirine was almost always able to tell if somebody was trying to hold back any kind of emotion whether it was positive or negative. She sat down next to her and patted her on the back.She didn't care if somebody liked her or not she always felt as if it was a duty for her but with Randy, she felt that she should help her rather than had to. "are you all right" She asked with a slight bit of concern unlike with most people.

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I bee?" Randy lied with a smile. "I'll make dinner. Make yourself at home." Randy cheered, walking to the kitchen. She saw a note on the fridge from her mom that told her what to make for dinner. She smiled and got to work.

Pirine decided to let it go for now. as for the make yourself at home statement "I have no home" She thought with a frown but quickly shook it off and laid down on the floor due to her not knowing this "make yourself at home" Statement.

Once dinner was served, there was a knock at the door. "That's probably mom!" Randy cheered, rushing to the door. She opened it and a woman with long, black, curly hair, a tight suit, and sharp blue eyes entered. "Uh... Hello mam? May I help you?" Randy asked in confusion. The woman's face was stern. But it was tearful and sympathetic as well. -

Pirine looked over slightly and saw the woman. She decided to hide from view fo a second considering she had no idea who the woman was. It would normally take months for Pirine to trust somebody new though the woman looked slightly familiar to her. Maybe she has just seen pass by once. -
"Hello. Are you Randy Dawson?" The woman asked. Randy nodded. "I regret to inform you that Dr. Pamela Veronica Dawson, your mother, has passed away." The woman told her. Randy blinked. "What happened?" She asked, trying hard to contain her anger and tears. "The University she works at was hit by an Earth Quake." The woman replied. "Oh..." Randy replied. "Thank you for telling me." Randy added before closing the door. She kept herself calm as she walked to the table and began to eat.

Pirine was shocked to overhear about the death. She decided to take a moment to slowly take a few deep breaths. Death terrified Pirine as well as well as bodies. She decided to speak, "I'm sure she was a good mother" she says attempting to make her feel better.
