"Yeah." Randy replied, pretending to be okay. She knew it was silly to be sad about one persons death. She knew it wouldn't be fair to complain that her mother died when Pirine had lost both her parents. And when others were loosing far more.
-
Pirine bit her lip and Took a bite of food and swallowed. "she is in a better place, unlike mine." she couldn't help but feel sorry for her and felt like she was doing a terrible job at helping. She frowned a bit as she ate some more.

Bump)
-
"I know. It's okay. I'm okay." Randy told Pirine, hoping this was clear. She didn't want Pirine to worry about her problems. Randy was supposed to be helping Pirine. "If you want you can stay here tonight. I can sleep in moms room and you can sleep in mine." Randy told her as they ate.
-
Pirine was surprised by the girl's generosity " I would love to but I get the feeling that I'd be a burden" She said but the real reason was that she never had an actual place to stay in over a decade. She felt like sleeping in a house may take some getting used to. She then realized that she didn't have to risk getting woken up after an hour due to somebody throwing a rock at her or something.
-
"No, not at all!" Randy told her. She wanted a friend... And her house was in the only safe area of the apocalypse. So if Pirine left she could die... And Randy would have no friends... "It would be nice to have some company." She blurted. "Cause all my other friends are busy trying to protect themselves..." She added, pretending to have friends. She blushed in embarrassment as she hoped Pirine believed that she was okay.
-
Pirine Smiled "You would really like me to stay?" She asked with a bit of glee. She smiled and grabbed a ziplock bag full of ashes out of her pocket and looked at it. "My brother would probably advise me to accept the opportunity," she said to herself as she put it back into her pocket.
-
Randy blinked at the ashes. "Yeah..." Randy replied, trying not to appear as uncomfortable as she was. "My room's the first door in the right if you want to check it out." Randy added.
-
Pirine noticed she spoke aloud and looked down. "okay, Ill do so" she said as she went to check it out. The last time she went into a bedroom was when she was seven. She turned on the lights and was amazed mainly because even when she did have a home it was all out of poverty.
-
Randy smiled as she finished her dinner. She sat there, deep in thought about Pirine. She was excited to spend more time with Pirine. But she was going to have to work harder at being positive during these hard times.
-
-
Pirine smiled happy to have a home, even if it is temporary. she decided to leave the room to walk back to randy. When she got back without warning Pirine gave Randy a big hug. "thank you for letting me stay." she said with joy
-
(you still there?)
-
Randy blushed as Pirine hugged her. For some reason the simple hug threw Randy off her toes and made her feel a bit flustered. She felt warm as she hugged Pirine back. "Of course!" Randy cheered as the hug ended.
-
Pirine smiled "I have never thought somebody as generous as you would show up help me. It means a lot to me" she said with a lot of respect. She was really starting to like her new friend.
