Archaios got out of the car and followed her, his tail twitching nervously as he looked around

"Nervioso uno ... No es l." Laura muttered to herself as she waited in line.

Archaios looked at her and tiled his head curiously

Laura didn't translate as she booked their room. She booked it under Archaios name so it wouldn't draw attention.

Archaios flicked his tail before pulling his puzzle ring out again

They walked up to the hotel room after paying. Laura left her suitcase on her chair. She read her father's comic as she rested on the bed.

Archaios sat down on the floor near the window and looked outside

Laura stared at him out of the corner of her eye curiously. "So... Are you a mutant?" She blurted, sitting up and staring patiently at him.

Archaios flinched slightly and then nodded

"Same here." Laura told him as she flipped through her book. "This is my father." She added, showing Archaios the cover and pointing to Wolverine.

Archaios moved closer and tilted his head at the picture

"This is what he really looked like." She added, showing a picture of her father in the newspaper from 2015.

Archaios flicked his tail as his ears went down "he looks scary

Laura frowned and turned away. "Yeah..." She sighed, looking at her own hands.
