(Oh 0w0 I'm sorry xD)
The letter explained that the company would be cracking down on the use of magic of any kind. It apologized for any inconvenience that this might cause and was signed by the overseer of the company. -
(It's okay.)
Sarah frowned. She would have to pick up her dolls tomorrow. And start her plains early.
Time skip
The next morning, Sarah got dressed and walked out the door. She rented a moving van and drove it to work. She entered and began to place the six dolls into the back of the van. -
Jarrod woke up, rubbing his eyes slightly. He was still slightly tired, but last night kept playing in his mind over and over. The way Sarah smiled and everything about her made his heart race. He sat up and got dressed. It wouldn't be long till he had to go check on her for the company.
-
Sarah saw Jarrod's car pull in as she loaded the second doll in. She made sure it was secure before she moved on to the third. She took a break after loading the third to greet Jarrod. "Hey." She greeted, smiling and blushing as she tucked her hair behind her ears.
-
Jarrod stepped out of the car, the door closing swiftly behind him. "How are you this lovely day?" he asked, looking at the dolls with curious eyes.
-
"Not very good. They're cancelling my magic." Sarah answered, trying not to cry. Trying not to yell. The last thing she wanted was to take her anger out on him... He was the only person who cared about her...
-
Harris walked toward her, confused and concerned. "They aren't allowed to do that." he said, hugging her tightly. "They don't have a right to."
-
* Jarrod
-
"Well they did." Sarah replied, freezing as he hugged her. She felt a familiar feeling fill her heart. A feeling she hadn't felt since her mothers dreams were crushed. Love. Care. Sarah smiled and hugged Jarrod back as her tears leaked slowly. She pulled away from the hug to keep herself from sobbing and showed him the letter.
-
Jarrod looked at the letter, his eyebrows furrowing together as he read it. "This doesn't seem right" he said, folding the letter and putting it in his pocket. "I'll talk to them about it, I promise."
-
"Okay... I need to get my dolls in here in case they distroy them." She sighed, continuing her work.
(Good night!) -
Jarrod helped her pack up the dolls, and when they finished he wiped the sweat off of his brow. "I'll work something out." he said, smiling trying to uplift Sarah's mood.
(Sleep well!)
