Carrie looked up at him to answer" uh yea, the major difference is no magical creatures , but there's a lot internet , and other thing"

Mason asked "What is internet?"

Carrie smiled " it's a thing humans use to talk to people over electronic devices and use it to look things up, instead if using a book. "

Mason said "Sounds interesting. Is there anything else?"

Carrie started to think " we keep different animals as pets, like dogs, cats , and some have exotic pets. But there are many horrible people in my world, it's sad that the things they do."

Mason said "I'm guessing they hurt the environment like the orcs?"

Carrie smiled " Yea, something like that. So tell me something about you?"

Mason said "There is really nothing exciting to tell. I've just lived in this book all my life, waiting like everyone else for the chosen one."

Carrie looked at him " well if you think about your world was once apart of mine, but somebody trapped you in a book."

Mason said "No one trapped us here. We went in voluntarily to keep the orcs from getting out."

" oh" Carrie said

Mason said "Yeah, though I tell ya, if I had the chance I would get out of this book and see the outside world. Even if only for a minute."

Carrie smiled " maybe after this is over, it may happen"

Mason said "Maybe."
Unbeknownst to them, Darkness was watching them from his lair. He had sent out a message for all his minions to find Carrie and bring her to him. One such minion was following them. -
Carrie nodded, smiling and kept walking
