This was it. This was his first time. Well, his first time at an auction. Was he bursting with excitement? Not really. Was he cool and collected? Not really. Paris just wore his familiar scowl, rather than showing whatever emotions really ran inside his veins. He glanced around the auction, looking at each of his options very carefully. Nothing really struck his eye, to his own dismay.
After all, despite his appearance, he did really want a sidekick. A friend- actually, Paris was unsure of what he really wanted. This was his first auction, as earlier stated, and he was rather clueless. He mumbled a few words to himself as he walked around the auction, pacing almost in anxiety. He was a tad nervous, so he clutched his waistcoat with one, large, long fingered hand. Meanwhile, the other stayed limp at his side.
Paris finally settled in on one particularly interesting- creature? It was a demon like boy, who interested Paris very much. After all, he was a child of Hades who had a thing for death. He smiled a bit just looking at it- him? Paris was unsure of what to call "the creature" as he thought of it. Regardless, Paris was interested. -
sorry abt that i just woke up from a nap
Yuki kept his head down and his empty gaze to the floor. His ankles and wrists were shackled to a wall, almost as if to say, 'Warning: Do not prevoke'. He had spent quite a long time travelling from auction to auction, typically unwanted or taken and returned for his rowdy, dangerous personality. His prices were always lower at each auction. It was clear that everyone was in a rush to have him bought and not returned.
His head lifted, and the small male's eyes wandered about the auction. Hiers and hieresses, Greek gods, Norse gods, immortal beasts were scattered about. These high-status, high-standard freaks had never failed to disappoint and disgust him. They'd come and give a gaze and pass, typically, crushing Yuki's hopes of leaving this place. They were high and mighty, with unspeakable powers and riches. Quite often did it make Yuki feel quite unsettled with the situation at hand. If a mighty god could take a walk in Yuki's shoes, the small male would do anything that makes it so.
Yuki spent alot of time thinking. Thinking of what he'd do if he could be a god or beast of some sort. Then it'd dawn upon him he's but a demon, drippimg with some inky substance that made him up. He hated this; he was a demon among a crowd of gods and goddesses, angels, and just about everything else. His eyes settled on a more solitary-looking male giving Yuki his gaze. The demon's tired eyes stuck there for a moment, inspecting the male from a distance, before looking away. Another god, he assumed, another disappointment. -
it's all good yo
Paris glanced around, trying to figure out how he was supposed to go about showing his interest in the creature. The demon. As a child of Hades, it was true, he was quite interested. He smiled a little bit at the creature- however, not a nice smile. Paris's smile always came off as rude and plotting.
Paris sighed a little, deciding to move a bit closer to the creature. He wondered if it had a name. He wondered if it could even talk. The creature was dripping in black ink. It was quite the grotesque picture, but he loved it regardless. Paris cracked another smile. The beauty in the grotesque was something that he appreciated very much so.
Paris moved closer and closer, almost to the point where he was merely a few feet from the creature. He seemed to be the only one with interest in the shackled, dripping creature. This made him happy- then the creature could be all his! He smiled in a split second of sadistic happiness. -
thanks
Yuki lifted his head, settling his empty gaze on the blonde once again. Black orbs rolled down his face, standing out against his paper-white skin. No emotion was expressed besides anxiety to leave this place, one he'd been at for as long as he could remember and one he dreaded. He leaned towards the blonde, examining him before giving a nearly invisible look of satisfaction. He straightened himself, trying to look presentable, which was quite hard when you had ink rolling down your face and dripping from your fingers, as if you'd melt. He'd clearly taken some small interest in the blonde, mostly caused by a strong desire to be out of his shackles and into a world he hadn't visited in months.
sorry abt this one being short i didnt have many ideas lmao -
It okie about it being short
"Can you speak?" The blonde boy asked. He was genuinely unsure whether the humanistic creature could talk or not. If so, Paris had a few questions for it. Some very basic, child-like curious questions. "My name's Paris and I'm very interested in you." He said, smirking a bit. "Who's the one auctioning you off? Are you direct sale or auction?" He realized that he should probably slow down; the questions might be too much for the inkly creature.
The blonde child of Hades was excited to buy the creature. He was sure he would be the one to buy it; he was determined to buy the inkly creature. He was sure no one else was interested, as many of the other creatures seemed nicer and more appealing to the eye. But this child of Hades wasn't looking for nice or appealing to the eyes.
Instead, he was looking for a partner in crime. He was looking for someone to share in his mischief and his adventure. That was what he was looking for, rather than someone who would be nice to him and obey his every command. -
thanks again
Yuki pulled up his cuffed wrists and gazed around, then leaned forward and spoke quietly. "I'm not supposed to speak,but..." His voice was young and chipper, quite fitting for his smaller appearance. "U-um, I-I'm, um, Masayuki.." He stuttered shyly and weakly like he hadn't spoken to anyone in a while. "I suppose you can just, um. take me.. They've been trying to get rid of me for a while now, and, um, I doubt they'd mind.."
His feet awkwardly shifted and he looked back down, standing upright once again with his wrists to his chest. He'd fallen silent, back to his mute-mistaken state. He looked back up to the blonde, straining to keep his nervous knees from knotting up. He leaned forward a second time and words escaped again. "Just.. get me out of here, please?" And Yuki fell silent again, tilting his head to help his heavy, inky black locks slide from his face. -

Sorry for the late response I didn't feel well due to the heat yesterday
Paris felt as if the Masayuki was trying to manipulate him into just taking him. However, the "trick" worked. Paris's paranoid side fell silent, and he decided that the creature would never lie to him, would he? He grinned a little bit in excitement. "Alright, now what to do about those shackles!" He exclaimed.
"Perhaps I can cut them off when we get home.." He mumbled. But he was still unsure. He glanced up at the inkly creature in curiousity of what he would think. "Do you.. have any ideas?" He questioned, raising a brow in expectation.
For a moment though, the excitement filled him. This was a new partner in crime for him! The demon would suit amazingly with the mean son of Hades. After all, the son of Hades thought of himself so highly that he felt he needed not a servant, but a sidekick. That was how highly Paris thought of himself. -
its fine dude
Masayuki glanced at his hands, then returned his gaze to Paris. He stared for a moment before focusing back down on his hands. He struggled to move his wrists together, but managed, sliding off his gloves and moved them to his mouth, holding them with sharp, canid-like teeth. He tried to slip his hands from the cuffs. He was nearly successful, and Masayuki knew he'd tried this before, failing quite the same. With that new burst of energy knowing he'd leave this place, he thought it could've led him to success.
A look of disappointment washed over his face, his dark gaze wandering down to his ankles, shackled as tightly as his wrists. He slumped over, irritable, looking back up to Paris. "W-well, no, um.." His voice was muffled by the gloves in his mouth. Anxiety hit him like a bullet, his heart thumping what felt like out of his chest. If he couldn't slip from his shackles, then what would give Paris the idea Masayuki could obey a simple command? He had the feeling, sure in his heart, he wasn't to be taken. Beads of ink rushed down his face at hit his chest with the new-found nervousness.
"Looks like I'm in, a, um, b-bit of a sticky situation, huh?" -
"Yes, yes you are. Who's auctioning you off? Can you point them off to me." Paris figured he'd rather just go morally for once and buy Yuki instead. He glanced around, curious as to who could be auctioning the person off. As there were plenty of people at the auction, he frowned. He was unsure of who it would be that was auctioning Yuki off.
Paris was beginning to become rather frustrated. At this point, he just wanted to take his prize- Yuki- home and get over it. He just wanted to have Yuki already, and Paris was growing rather impatient about it. To Paris, it was manifest that Yuki was already his. After all, he was so unwanted.
In a way, Paris pitied the poor creature, as Paris knew what it was like to be unwanted. Disliked. It was a feeling he was all too familiar. -
Yuki let his now fretful gaze slide around the auction. He didn't see anyone familiar, or anyone who'd auctioned him off in the past. "Well, we have... different people, different prices at each auction. T-they're, um, usually near, but I didn't have anyone with me when the auction began. I don't see anyone I know, either.. um.." He put on a fake smile to Paris, nervous but keeping form. He seemed more sturdy- he wasn't dripping as bad now, and it looked like a bit of life was brought back into him. He'd clearly gotten more comfortable with Paris.
"I really do hate to disappoint.." Yuki fell quiet, lowering his voice and leaning back towards the bigger male. "If I knew how to answer normally, I would- I can tell you get it, right?" Yuki saw the understanding in Paris' eyes, just making the smaller male overflow with excitement and a desire to leave, more and more. He started to feel irritable, once he thought about it, having that desire and excitement be held back by forces he couldn't control.
