How about C1 is a beautiful mustang and she meets C2 a white mare in the forest. They have to try and save their home from being destroyed by humans before its too late. Will they succeed? How will they do it?

Sorry, just realized that doesn't work. If you still want to see the picture, Google search white mustang horse, then scroll down through images. It's fairly close to the beginning, it will have a white horse with black ears and muzzle with a blue background.

Andronesia walked through the forest. She heard what sounded like an unfamiliar horse. Who could that be? she wondered. -
Jewel pawed at the ground and reared up. Jewel thought she had saw something and it had startled her. She ran in circles to call herself. Slowly she calmed down.

I'm thinking that maybe they meet, and then realize they come from separate herds that have a grudge against each other. They become best friends, but have to meet in secret. Eventually, they realize that the only way to save their home, is to join the herds together)
