Piper looked at him curiously ,"Who are you?" she croaked.

"Where am I?Are ou going to hit me?" she slinked into the couch a little

He frowned and shook his head "i wont hurt you, and your in my home" he said with a smile

She shimmied out"Why?" is all she said,her wings close by her

He tilted his head in confusion"why what?

"Why did you not dump me on the street?Or sell me?" she sai her navy eyes wide

"Why the hell would i do something like that?" he said, his ebony wings twitching behind him

"Because,money,power,fame,entertainment" she said sounding more intelligent now that she piped up

"And i dont give a s--- about any of that

Piper flinched at his words"......" she stayed slilent
