Dixie's tail started going numb then her upper half. She needed Meliodas to stop the shadow, although why would he he has never been fond of me.

Meliodas blinked in surprise when he was kissed "hazel?" he said as he watched her swim off before he quickly looked around and growled, shadows dancing around his feet

Hazel used her water powers to push it back a little so Dixie could get out

Dixie tried to get out from its grip when Hazel pushed it back, but she was too weak. The struggle had strained her.

Hazel rushed over to imher dragging her out grunting as she did.

Meliodas jumped in to the water and quickly swam over, his eyes turning red when he saw the shadow before he grabbed its throat and absorbed it, his fingers becoming long black tallons

Dixie had passed out from the struggle, but no one knew that , because when you are a mermaid and pass out you don't breathe

Hazel turned to see Meliodas "s---" she said and swam over quicker than lightning . Using her fire she attempted to burn it off him

Meliodas quickly swam back up to the surface of the lake and gasped for air

Hazel grabbed Dixie and got some merman to help her get them to the top where Meliodas was. "Meliodas1)!" Yelled Hazel swimming over keeping him afloat .

All Dixie saw was pitch black

Hazel helped Meliodas on the dock and Dixie to the smthe dock

Dixie started to shadows swirling in the darkness

Oh no" Hazel said . She used air to pull out all the water out of her lung

Dixie felt limp. She didn't know what to feel. She thought she had died ( she doesn't )
