hi ho hee ho mee ho wee ho
i love finn v good character EE
"Sometimes I forget we live near each other," he replied. "We're very close yet very far apart." He orated these statements in a way that was loud enough for Finn to hear, but low enough that he wouldn't draw any attention. Being in the middle of the dance floor returned a feeling of exhilaration to the male's body. It was an emotion he had failed to feel for fears. He could notice the vibrations from the music in his feet, all by themselves enough to make him want to move. When he finally decided to take the chance to dance, it was electric.
Most passerby probably wouldn't have been able to collect that he hadn't danced in years. They were too preoccupied with flirting and their own good times to care what others looked like. Ayden supposed it was a positive quality. In the bars he typically attended, everyone was always snooping around un everyone else's business. Sometimes, they felt like old fashioned saloons, where old men and women in powdered wigs would talk s--- on the queen while drinking tea and stuffing biscuits into their mouths.
In the club atmosphere, however, things felt alright. It became less and less overwhelming as time passed on. At one point, he and Finn broke away from each other. During this moment, he crossed paths with a lovely young man who seemed to be making the absolute most of his night. His long hair bounced and whipped with every jump while his mouth was pulled into a tight, pearly white smile. Ayden admired him for a moment. Not only due to his eyecatching features, but also for his demeanor. It was welcoming.
But Ayden didn't welcome himself. He began to search for his friend, but thankfully, the redhead had just made his way back. "You know, this isn't half bad," he half-shouted in order to overpower the music. "I feel sort of good, like I could do anything." He smiled widely. -

finn is my baby so i thank you for complimenting my baby
Finn smiled a little in response to his friend's statement. "Yeah, it's all about feeling infinite. Isn't it the greatest?" He bit the bullet. He grabbed his friend's hand, holding it and dancing with him a little. He felt the need to be so close with his friend.
He couldn't think of anything better than this moment. He glanced around the gay club, looking at all of the men. There was so much variety. Shape, size, color. Everything. There were drag queens clubbing on the stage and collecting cash, there were drag queens on the floor just being out to be out. There were redheads, blondes, brunettes. There was every color hair under the sun on the floor. Dyed hair, spiked hair. Pale skin, tan skin, dark and deep skin.
This was what he loved about going out. Not just hooking up, but seeing the variety of the LGBT community. That was the best thing ever for Finn. He just appreciated the love that was enveloped in the gay community.
"Hey, you've ever considered doing drag?" He asked to his friend, a little drunkenly and slurring. Drag was always best consumed when drunk, even though it could easily be enjoyed while sober. Sure, Finn loved RuPaul's Drag Race as much as any gay guy. But there was something about the local queens that was particularly exciting. Something about them Finn loved and enchanted him to enjoy his night more than ever.
In the moment, Finn had never felt more infinite. A little drunken, sure. But with his friends, the diversity and the drag queens, as well as the music. Nothing could stop Finn tonight. Tonight was gonna be his night. -
u welcome
Ayden was a bit taken aback when Finn grabbed his hand. It was one of the few actions he hadn't been expecting, especially since he and the other male weren't nearly as close as they once were. All the same, he appreciated the gesture and even went about tightening the grip on the other man's hand. It made dancing even easier than before, his feet moving along flawlessly to the beat as his head attempted to make sense of the pertually changing colors and sounds.
Upon hearing Finn's query, his eyebrows raised wildly. Drag was an aspect of life that the man had never even consideted treading on. He enjoyed witnessing other people partake in it, but Ayden couldn't imagine putting in the effort to make himself over. Something about him lacked the patience and drive to do what it took to fit the bill of a drag queen. He slowed his dancing, shaking his head.
"Finn, does it look like doing drag is the most of my concerns?" His tone was fairly gruff and harsh, which he automatically apologized for. "I guess it just doesn't cross my mind when I'm so caught up in other things." He quicked his movements once again, tilting his head. "What about you? You're usually willing to try new things, right?"
Drag was somewhat of an intriguing thing to Ayden. How people were so capable of altering themselves in such a talented manner captured his attention. He typically didn't watch the television shows attached to the topic, mainly because the majority of reality programs weren't his style. However, he did usually compliment drag queens if he happened to come across them in his daily activities. In the area in which he lived, the sight wasn't entirely uncommon, and it was always a treat. -
o gosh finn is such a troublemaker i stg
Finn smiled a little at the other man's response. Why he did this was unclear even to him. Perhaps it was the alcohol in his system making him all smiley and stuff. That was the only explanation Finn had for acting so weirdly.
"Oh honey, I've tried drag before." Finn smiled a little bit more. He remembered the night he tried drag quite clearly. "Yeah, I was with some of the local queens and I let them do a makeover on me." Now that he was thinking about it, he hadn't seen the queens he was with for quite a while. They were part of a drag family, where they all had the last name Smith. There was Roxy, Crystelle and Maroona.
However, for being a drag family there was plenty of diversity. Roxy was a rich white girl with lots of money and lots of lovers. She had tan skin and bleached white hair. When she dressed in drag, she wore bright makeup and walked like a total diva. Crystelle was a young Latina girl from New York. She was fairly new to the area, and specialized in both pageant and comedy drag. She was a bit of both, really. Finally, Maroona was the most popular drag queen of the family. She was also a white girl, much like Roxy. She often wore higher end clothes than the rest and her style resembled the popular drag queen Willam's.
Sure, he enjoyed drag. Would he do it again? He was unsure. It took hours for him to get into drag, but clubbing was twice as fun in drag. Drag was incredibly fun for Finn. He enjoyed it greatly. "Yeah, it was really fun but took a while for makeup and such. Clubbing was twice as fun, though." Finn stated. "Like, you don't even have to get drunk to have fun clubbing when you're in drag."
Finn glanced up at the girls on the stage once more. They were lip syncing and grabbing dollars out of the crowd at a rapid pace. Many did splits, death drops and other intricate and dangerous tricks that drag queens were so famous for doing. This intrigued Finn a bit and took his attention for a second, before returning to swinging around and dancing on the dance floor. -
WOWOWOWOWOWO I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS MY TURN SLIT MY THROAT
Ayden roses his eyebrows in intrigue upon learning that Finn had actually partaken in the activity. His mind ran rampant as it dreamt up the many ways his friend could have could have appeared in the alternate apparel. Some ideas were humorous, causing slight laughs to escape from his nose. Others were more enticing-- and those were the ones he promptly ceased envisioning. The man stopped dancing altogether in order to respond,
"That seems cool. Who knows? Maybe one day I'd take a stab at it." He was unsure as to how much truth rang out in his words, but at least a little part was truly interested. "Hey, I'm gonna go grab a drink and take a wazz, I'll be back!" He uttered these words as clearly as he could before swerving on his heel, heading off to the bar. The same bartender from the previous encounter lounged against the hardwood of the counter. He waved to Ayden as he took a seat, tilting his head as if to ask what he desired.
The male asked for only a bottle of Yuengling, which he quickly received. He thanked the worker, taking in a long, drawn sip of the bottle. Nearly finishing it before setting it down, he sighed. A part of him wished he didn't have such a tolerance to alcohol, or else he would most likely be having higher degree of fun at that moment.
"Somethin' troublin' ya?" the tender questioned, leaning against the counter once more. His eyes were wide with genuine worry. Ayden allowed himself to shrug unsurely. Was something bothering him, or was he only making mountains out of mole hills like he had done so often? He finished off the beer, pushing it forward and gesturing for another one.
"Look, I'm making my best effort to have fun, but I can't. I'm supposed to be enjoying myself, but I'm legit failing."
"Any particular reason you're feeling like that?"
Yeah. "Won't say."
"Understandable. But, look, I got something that'll help you loosen up, no problem!" The man sifted through his pocket for a moment, eventually pulling out two small tablets marked by a four leaf clover. Ayden rolled his eyes.
"Ecstasy, right?"
"I mean, yeah, but this batch is the s---. Try it, do try it. Chill a while once you take it so it can set in."
There was nothing to lose, Ayden figured, so he downed the pills with about half of his new drink, thanking the bartender who probably would be fired if his bosses knew what he'd done. Ecstasy was not a new thing for the younger fellow, but if the batch was as promising as the bartender stated, he assumed he would have the time of his life. After about fifteen minutes of lounging around and drinking, the man tapped his shoulder, gesturing to the dance floor.
"Go let loose," he whispered, smiling. Ayden thanked him once more, standing from his spot. As if right on cue, the stress and anxiety and lack of enjoyment he has been feeling began to slowly peel away. The music and lights and beautiful, beautiful people were amplified to the point that the man could fully appreciate them. He sought out his friend for a few moments, eventually finding him not far from the spot he'd left him.
"Hey, hey, hey!" He exclaimed, finding hinself dancing in rhythm to the electronic music blasting from the speakers stationed around the room. "Sorry I took a little long. But I'm back and better than ever!" -
YEET bumping ik u probs need time all goos, just bumpin

s--- dawg you made Ayden take drugs what a rebel
Finn would never do that Bc Finn would be too scared tbh
While his friend was gone, Finn found himself dancing with a guy with curly long, red hair. Finn would play with his hair as he rubbed up on him. The man was pure muscle, as well, wearing a cut off tee shirt.
"What're you doing tonight?" The other man asked.
"You, hopefully." Finn said with a wink, laughing. The other man seemed puzzled at this, as if he didn't get the joke or if he couldn't tell whether or not he was joking. Frankly, Finn himself was unsure of whether he was joking or not.
After that, the two men said nothing to one another. They merely just danced for a few more minutes. Finn eventually got bored, though and left the fellow redhead without saying his goodbyes.
He was quite grateful when his friend returned, as he wasn't getting any bites. No one seemed interested in him, and that upsetred Finn a lot. It hurt his delicate ego. After all, Finn was raised knowing he was the s---. His mom treated him like he was all that, his friends and brothers and sisters looked up to him. Everyone wanted to be him. His confidence, his looks, his success- this made him enviable.
Although, he didn't think he was very enviable right now. He was just a boy in a gay bar, trying to pick someone up for a fun night. That was pretty, well- average. And Finn was raised so that average was unacceptable. He frowned. Although he hadn't seen his mom in months, he knew she disapproved of his current lifestyle. Which truly upset him.
When his friend came back, he was truly in a bit of a trance. Not moving, just staring off into space with nothing but his thoughts. "Hey! No problem. What do you wanna do?" He said, trying his best to yell over the music. -
he risk it all bc he thinks there's nothing to lose mm
Under the influence, certain features Ayden had failed to notice before were clearly visible. He tilted his head, reaching out and patting Finn's cheek tenderly. It was a very careful action, almost like the old pal may bite if provoked.
As though he hadn't heard Finn's question, he began to speak, "Dude, have I ever told you I wish I was as tall as you? Like I know I'm not really short, but like I've always wanted your height. It probably would have helped in basketball, because being five nine makes you the smallest guy out there. Kind of like Isaiah Thomas." He crossed his arms, smiling.
He then quieted down, appearing to be in deep thought. "I just wanna dance with you, okay?" That was the moment in which he grabbed his friend's hands, jumping and sliding to the beats being produced by the disc jockey. It was sort of like a totally different personality crawled into his skin and completely took over.
As the music blasted through the speakers, he couldn't help but feel like it was surging through him. It made him feel like he could be so much more than a travel agent-- something great. His mind wandered back to Isaiah Thomas, how he was the face of the Celtics, how fans pored over him as though he was the savior for any issue the team may be having. That could be me that could be me that could be me . He found himself growing slightly closer to Finn, something he didn't mind doing in his current state. -
sorry it a bit short couldnt think of much

BUT FINN IS TO LOSE AH
Finn danced with his partner, chuckling every once in a while. As he found Ayden getting closer to him, Finn took a very large step forward to get closer to Ayden. He didn't mind getting close to his dance partner- in fact, it didn't faze him at all.
Now, Finn was not new to dancing. He had been hitting clubs since he was fifteen. He remembered his first gay club, when he first realized his sexuality, at age sixteen. He remembered his first hookup, consequently. It was that same day- the day he lost his virginity to a stranger, an adult man.
Sure, it was a tad f---ed up. But he didn't mind. After all, Finn had been hooking up constantly since then. Sex was like Finn's addiction. It was his purpose. It was what he was good at.
Goddamn, what would his mom think of him having sex with strangers every night? What would his dad think of he being gay? He wasn't out to his dad- and didn't plan to be. His thug of a dad would probably hire someone to beat him up if he knew.
Oh, if only Ayden knew more about Finn's rough upbringing. If only Finn would admit that the bruises he went to school with every day weren't from footballz. What would Ayden think? What would he do? Finn frowned in dismay.
'This is a moment, Finn, live in it. Stop living in the past.' He told himself mentally. He was a tad tipsy, so maybe that's where the emotions where welling up from. But just like that- he found himself quite literally crying in the club. He wiped his red, puffy eyes. Hoping his dance partner wouldn't notice, he said, trying to keep his voice from cracking, "I'll be right back~" and then proceeded to trot off. -
WELL UGHQVDJWIW THAT IS TO BE LEARNED AYDEN IS A DYNAMIC CHARACTER OKZ9QCIDJE

The close dancing was much more enjoyable. It brought back the feelings of love and adoration he had had for the other during their friendship. For a split second, he thought about a certain day that never failed to push its way to the front of his memory-- a beach day. Ayden had taken the time to call Finn after preparing a full lunch and even purchasing a crappy sandcastle set. They hadn't been on incredible terms, so it was the raven-haired male's way of attempting to make it up to Finn. It was a miracle that the other had even agreed.
They'd spent the entire day lounging in the sand, soaking up the sun, and building crappy castles in order to pass the time. Of course, that was around the time Ayden had begun to get involved with alcohol, and of course he'd brought some to the beach that day. It could be said that the memory was bittersweet. Though the day went well and both boys were content, it was also one of the earliest moments in which Ayden depended on alcohol. It stung a bit, but the ecstasy the generous bartender had gifted him made it difficult to feel bad or upset over anything.
When he snapped back to reality, he was a bit astonished to see that Finn was visibly upset. He scrunched up his face when the other broke away from him, but he kept his eyes glued to the figure. It was then that he made the vow to follow Finn until he caught up with him, and then that he decided it was his job to make his buddy feel better. After a second or two, he took off, trying his best match Finn's pace.
Distractions were everywhere, however. All of the people around him had this sort of beauty to them, and it was like they could dance their lives away and they would be perfectly fine with doing so. With all of the lights bouncing off of their skin and hair, they were like a piece of contemporary art that the critics would pore over if they knew it existed. He smiled wide, and while keeping contact with Finn's body, uttered strings of compliments to all those that he passed. He wanted them to feel as good as he did in that moment.
When he was having trouble edging through the crowd, he began to yell for his friend.
"Finn, slow down, dude! Let's taaaalk!" -
