Evelyn went into her parent's room and pulled her mom up from the bed impatiently. I guess you could say they weren't morning people, like she was. "Don't you have dance lessons?" Her dad asked as he sat down at the table. Her mom sat in between Madison and her dad, and Evelyn passed out the food before she answered the question as she sat down as well. "Yeah but that's like in the afternoon," Evelyn answered with a blush. "You should see her one of these days," bragged her dad to Madison, "One of the best. I'd give her a 10/10, even if she wasn't my daughter." "Omg shut up!" Evelyn said as she tried to hide behind her fork. "Do you like to dance?" Asked her mother to Madison, always the subject changer.
-
Madison smiled don't at the food before her, nodding to evelyn n thanks. She listened to them talk to each other, chuckling to herself quietly, hoping not to be heard. Wh n the mother asked her if she danced herself, she looked at tie woman, and around to the other two before answering with a small shake of her head. "N-no. I've never really tried. Not alot anyway." she replied before going back to eating the food before her.
-
Evelyn didn't comment for a second. "That's okay. There are other things some people are good at," she suggested. She nudged her parents, who were silent. Her mother nodded. "Maybe we should sign you up. It'll be so cute to see you two dance together," she gushed. Count on her to describe two dancing teenage girls as 'cute'. Evelyn once again tried to hide behind her fork. "Gah you're so embarrassing!" She said. Though she guessed it didn't really because Madison was part of the family now, so she was gonna have to learn their strange ways anyhow. Sometimes it felt as though Madison was just a visitor who was leaving soon, but Evelyn had to remind herself this was her new sister. What she'd always wanted.I t wasn't going she thought it'd be. She had imagined they would both be dancers, growing up on Dancing with the Stars together. Madison not being a dancer was a let down, bringing her trust down along with it.
-
Madison looked up from her food, she was still listening though, when she heard the woman say something about signing herup for dancing. She quickly shook her head, not wanting to do that. Atleast not atthe time anyway. If she was going to do it, at anytime, she would want to be more adjusted to living with them first so she was more comfortable. "I don't really th-think I want to do that. I'm never really tried." she said, quietly as usual. She went back to her food soon after, enjoying the meal. She knows it couldn't hurt to try, but she didn't want to yet as said.
-
Evelyn shrugged and ate her food in silence for a minute, then got up to throw her food away. She was always the first done so she could wash dishes, the OCD she sometimes had helped with that kind of thing. She took her parent's plate, even if they weren't fully finished. They would usually have enough extra to last for days. "We were gonna go shopping before Evelyn goes to classes," her dad said, "Would you like to come, Madison?" He asked her. "We could get you some new clothes," Evelyn's mom said. Evelyn nodded. "Besides, I need those new dancing shoes," Evelyn reminded them as she turned the sink on to wash the dishes.
-
Madison smiled looking at them, nodding her head afterwards. She could use some new clothes for herself, and they offered, so why not take it? "Sure, I'll come. I could use some." she said in response to them. "Thank you." she said, getting up from the chair with a small smile. She thought about what she needed most, to what she had. Though most thoughts were of that they were kind so far to her instead. She liked it here so far, though it had only been half a day really there.
-
Evelyn scrubbed hurriedly, trying to have enough time to get ready for the store. She set the dishes on the counter to dry, then she headed upstairs. She pulled out some clothes and a towel from out of her drawer. Evelyn walked to the bathroom with a slight quickness in her step. She checked her watch. So she had dance practice at 2pm and it was currently 9pm. Evelyn sighed in relief, she had enough time. She opened the door and started undressing to quickly take a shower. They were supposed to leave at about 9:15. Evelyn bent over to turn the water on.
