kallia tensed, ready for them to start shooting arrows at her.

"Don't lie to me Tokalla! Why were you at the beach?" She repeated. Tokalla stayed quiet. "You are dismissed from the hunt then." Una sighed, following the tracks of a dear. Tokalla was confused with himself. Why was he keeping secrets from his family? Then a voice in his head answered. 'Because you know they will be afraid of her.' It said. He sighed and turned to return home.

kallia swiftly and silently shimmied down the tree and ran off. she hid her camp with ferns and such so it looked like a large mound of growing ferns rather than a camp. she hid inside her shelter carefully.

The beach was considered sacred to the tribe. So they never set foot in the sands. After hunting they returned to their village.

kallia watched them when they were nearby and soon slid out of her bush shelter, resolved never to move the ferns, made it look more like a fern mound, and relaxed neck deep in the water once more, back against a large rock and petting a tiger shark she named tammy. for some reason it didn't attack her so she quickly befriended it.

"Tiger Sharks don't attack people." A little boy's voice said. He was playing on the rock.

kallia shrieked and hugged tammy in a headlock. tammy had a face like "why".

"Hi! I'm Ohanzee!" He greeted. "Ohanzee!!! Where did you go!?!" A worried tribe member called. "Bye Girl of White!" He cheered, swimming off. His sister sat him down and told him a story about a boy who got lost in sea when he got separated from his tribe. This story taught children in their tribe to stay together.

brightfire NewbieKallia ducked under thee water while Tammy instantly acted normal. Kallia had a reed stick and was breathing through it in a reed patch which Tammy circled.

Everyone returned to the town.

brightfire NewbieKallia in turn hurried frantically into deeper water. Luckily Tammy was the only tigeeshark in the small lake by her camp. She supporters kallia as she bobbed on the waves.

Tokalla returned to the lake and saw Kallia in the deep waters. He saw everything covered in ferns and looked confused. He sat on a rock and watched Kallia swim.

tammy popped her head up, tilting it at tokalla. kallia murmured something to the shark and she relaxed, though still slightly tense. "Hey, tokalla! this is my friend tammy. the tiger shark. luckily she's the only one!"

Tokalla looked over and waved. "It's odd to see one alone. There's supposed to be a group of them in that lake. My little brother plays with them." Tokalla told her.
