Tokalla hummed with her. He pulled one of her books out of her bag. It was a book about a girl her age in a place called High School. He read it but put it down. The way the people in the book acted gave him a headache. So he sat down and tried to understand it.

kallia turned and laughed at his confusion. "mom forced me to bring a sappy romance novel." she chuckled before snatching the book and tossing it in the lake. where it got eaten by a large fish.

"What's a High School? Is it in the trees?" Tokalla asked.

"high school is a education area where kids 14 and such go and learn... skills. there are teachers that are the best at these skills and so teach them." kallia explained. "sometimes they have more than one level, but they usually are on the ground."

"Okay... And why did the male call the girls Foxes?" He asked.

"because they're idiots." she explained calmly before stretching out in the water.

"Okay. Are you wanting the box and necklace?" Tokalla asked.

kallia shoved the box away but strung the necklace around her neck. she still had the rose crown and necklace but obviously fresher.

"I'll leave you alone now..." He sighed. Walking into the forest.

kallia absentmindedly nodded. she didn't mention she had tied a special string that trailed goop wherever it dragged. soon when she was sure he was oblivious she followed carefully.

Tokalla returned to his tribe and got his hunting tools ready. He set out into the forest. "Tokalla! Look at this!" Tokalla's little brother Ohanzee called. There was a trail of slime. "You stay here, I'll follow it." Their big sister Una told them, following the trail that lead from where Tokalla stood, to the town, then to somewhere at the end of the forest.

kallia hid safely in the trees, well hidden from the girl and everyone else as she watched with curiosity.

"I think this leads to the beach." Una sighed. "Wait a second... It's coming from you!" She told Takolla, showing him the slime trail. "What were you doing there?" Una asked. "Nothing." Tokalla lighted.
