Chara quickly cut it with his knife before it truly landed on him

Pearbugdoodles NewbieCarly this time managed to get the net on him after sneaking some vines around to snatch his knife. Then the vines snuck it into her pocket and lifted the net containing chara in it, turning him in to the police station. Of course, they took off the net after she left and put him in a special cell that prohibited him from escaping.

The cell had been built for people without powers so he just teleported out and got his knife then escaped

Since chara could see the future he watched himself escaping so he did exactly what he did in the future now so he could escape -

Chara knew the person who had put him in jail had his knife so he didn't try getting it back
