She pulled out a net, tied it to a tree, and dropped a deer carcass under it. "We wait." She cackled before diving in her tent. "Hide! Its almost night!" She dragged in Toby. -

how fred always solves everything with a net. ahh when i was a tiny kid,))
lori peered out and heard a grunting noise. she hid and saw a strange, extremely large warthog like creature with green tusks walk in to eat the deer. she saw it spit the acidic stuff on it before the net came down, and soon it broke free- at least, after lori hopped on it to try and keep it down. "HELP! STOP IT!" she screeched as she was riding it like in a rodeo. -
"This ain't my first rodeo!" Lilly joked, lassoing Lori, grabbing Toby and running out with them riding on her back. They got back to town and Lilly panted. "Promise you won't go in there again!" She ordered.

lori was nowhere to be see. the rope was broken and lori was whooping as she rode the thing out. it seemed docile now and let out a reluctant purr as she patted its back. "i like him! im going to call him baxter!" lori cheered. "he was easy to tame."

lori cooed to baxter, who purred back. "im keeping him!" she pulled toby and lilly on and rode baxter back to the house. "MA! i got a new pet!" -
Frankie screeched! "No!!! No! You can't keep that!" She hollored. Lilly nodded nervously and walked out the door. Toby ran to his room.

lori huffed. "but hes awesome! DAD! can i keep baxter??" she called. "he has acidic spit to help with inventions!"
(imagine of richard is like "alright" and lori gets to keep him) -
"They wouldn't let me get a puppy Lori. I highly doubt they'll let you keep a giant, sharp toothed, acid spitting, wart hog." Toby laughed.

"but hes a baby! DAD!" she cried. baxter sat down and lori clung on.

"A baby just makes it worse! Imagine when he grows up!!! You are not keeping him! End of story!!!" Frankie concluded. "And if you don't get him back in the forest and leave him there we have to call the zoo." Richard sighed in agreement. He meant Animal Control, but he didn't want to make Lori upset.
