"What are you doing!?!" Toby gasped, dragging her back in. He looked very pale as he closed the window. "There are poisonous plants growing at the bottom of the window. Although, I think mom forgot to tell you that." He sighed.

lori had toppled safely away from the plants and paled at them before tossing a few rocks at them to squish them and kill them.

"Damn Girl!" A girl her age with beautiful blonde curly hair, bright green eyes, crooked teeth, and a cool outfit. "Y-you might want to be careful... The poling could still get in the air..." Her equally pretty friend with dark brown silky hair, brown skin, light brown eyes, and a simple blue dress and white jacket warned. "I'm sure she knows that Jane!" The first girl smiled kindly to her shy friend.

lori was up and looking at them, her head cocked slightly. "huh? who are you? i thought i knew all the kids in this town..." she muttered off before staring again. she was wearing news-paper-pasted over her leggings- at least, that was the pattern. she also had a extremely dark turquoise hoodie just past her hips and drawn around her face, complete with boots.

"I'm Taylor! And this is my friend Jane. She doesn't like talking much." The blonde girl introduced with a little curtsy. "And if you didn't know us, you probably don't know most of the kids here." She added. "Oh! Hi Taylor! This is Lori, my, well I guess adopted sister." Toby introduced as he came out the door. "Yeah, we heard there was a new girl so we came to welcome her!" Taylor cheered as Jane blushed. Toby didn't notice her blushing as he got in the car with their parents. "Coming Lori?" He asked.

lori nodded and followed, giving a slightly wary glance at jane. she was protective of toby now, even though she was a year younger. she strapped herself in and waved as the car drove off.

"I saw you met Taylor and Jane! The town's proof that opposites attract when it comes to friendship!" Richard cheered. "They actually do have lots in common Dad." Toby replied. Richard nodded. "Yes, you are right." He agreed. "I like Taylor! She's a very nice girl! Jane's nice too, but she doesn't talk much." Frankie commented. "She doesn't like small talk much. Unless it's with her family or Taylor. If you think she doesn't talk to you, she never talks to me." Toby replied as they reached the store.

lori skidded out and snatched all the hershey bars. she pooled them onto the counter and paid for them before stuffing them in the car. "Ready!" she called.

"Oh... Cool!" Frankie cheered as Toby bought a Christmas card kit and a big stack of construction paper with his allowance.

lori bought alot more stuff than you would expect; she had been saving it for a few weeks. "she pays alot!"

When they got back, Taylor and Jane were playing I Spy on a nearby bench. "Hi!" Toby greeted as he got his stuff. Jane waved and blushed, once again without Toby's notice. Taylor waved and smiled to her friend.

lori waved without looking at them and led the way inside. she sat at her computer and seemed to be doing something, refusing to let the others see what.

"Hey! I forgot to make you a MiTio account!" Toby remembered, trying to get on her computer.
