"Hello class! I'd like to introduce a new student!" The teacher cheered. "Please meet Andrew Wallaway!" She introduced. "Call me Wander." Andrew cheered, bowing. He had a purple t-shirt with yellow stars all over it, and green jeans. -
Marie and a few others just looked u others didnt bother.But she looked up then ut her head back down woking

"Okay... Wander, why not you take a seat?" Mrs. Kalla requested. Andrew nodded and took the only empty seat which was beside Marie. "Hello!" He greeted.

Marie looked up and smiled at him for a hi and went back t work. she didnt exactly want to talk to people o she tryed to void most people.

Andrew handed his work to the teacher who stared at it. "Care to explain this Andrew?" She asked. "Explain what?" Andrew asked. Mrs. Kalla scanned his paper again. "There are drawings all over your math sheet!" She sighed. "I answered the questions. Two plus two equals fish, three plus three equals eight, four plus four equals tree, and five plus five equals vase." Andrew replied. "Andrew! 2+2=4! 3+3=6! 4+4=8! 5+5=10!" She sighed. "I know. I learnt that in kindergarten like everyone else." Andrew replied. "Then why couldn't you do the simple addition drill!?!" Mrs. Kalla asked. "But I did! I answered the questions. Two plus two equals fish, three plus three equals eight, four plus four equals tree, and five plus five equals vase!" Andrew repeated. Mrs. Kalla sighed and handed everyone the real math.

Everyone quickly looked u when they heard the teacher raise her voice. After he lowered it again they watched her and andrew . but after she finished talking and handed out the sheet they stopped looking

"Wow... That kid's stupid!" A girl who sat behind Marie snickered. Andrew didn't seem to notice. This time he completed his sheet correctly, but decorated it as well.

Marie heard what the girl said and rolled her eyes at the stupid comment

Soon class was over. Andrew spun around as he left class. "So, what's your name?" He asked Marie when she got out.

Marie sighed knowing he wouldnt leave her alone until she talked to him. He looked at him and quickly and low to where we could hear what she said "Its Marie" Then she pushed her way through the crowded halls disappearing

Emily saw Marie enter the next class and waved. "Did you meet And-I mean, Wander yet?" She asked.

Marie nodded and sighed "yea ? why?" she asked sitting next to emily

"I heard lots of rumors about him. My brother says he's very kind and smart, but a lot of people are saying he's weird and dumb. Others are saying he's a wizard." Emily shrugged. "This new kid is like the biggest game of Operator!" She laughed. "So I was wondering what you think of him?"
