Oh! Sorry! I was busy!)
You have to start, because my character won't come for a while. -
Ok)
Josh always wanted to learn magic but had no one to teach him,so he taught himself with books. He was out side practicing when he was called in for dinne. -
"Son... I'd like to talk to you!" Josh's father sighed during dinner.

"Ok, what about."

"Son... You can't learn magic. Not true magic." His father told him. "You need to be born with it. Or cursed."

There was a moment of silence. "But... the most powerful magic is found and earned." He sighed. "And I found this." He pulled out a map to a mountain where a great power lived. "But legend says that many people went to this mountain, and never returned."

"You're giving it to me I thought you didn't like me doing magic"

"I'm giving it to you so that you'll learn it's hopeless to gain Magic!" His father replied, clearing the table after dinner.

"Oh well I'm trying to learn magic to help my village and keep it safe."

"Yes yes, whatever." His father sighed. "But like I said. You can't learn magic." His father walked up the stairs, leaving his son alone to make a desicion.

Josh studied the map did some math and figured it would take a week or two to reach were he was going so he decided to go in the morning and went to bed.

The next morning, Josh's mother put a bag of food and tools on the table. Unlike her husband, she cared about her son and his dreams. She cooked breakfast and put a note on Josh's plate saying the bag was his to keep! Then she set off to do her errands.

When Josh found the note and the supplies he whispered under his breath,"thank you mom", put the bag on his back and headed out the door.

Josh's mother smiled, waving a goodbye to her child. "Good luck!" She called.

Josh waved back and stayed,"Thank you", and started walking down the road.
