  Soon, after Charms, everyone was talking about Hermione's encredibal float charm! "That was great Hermione!" Hannah cheered. She hoped that Hermione's amazing charm was enough to cover up how clumsy she was with Harry... But she quickly forgot that when her friend ran away crying because of what Ron was saying.

  Gabrielle gasped as Hermione ran off and she frowned, figuring it best to give her some space. Harry scowled at his friend. Why did he have to be so rude to Hermione?

  Later at dinner Halloween, Hannah told Lavender that Hermione was in the bathroom all day crying. Ron tried to pretend he didn't hear her. But guilt spilled over his face.
  
  Later, everyone was gasping as Professor Quirrel announced the troll in the dungeon. Hannah overheard Ron and Harry rushing off to save Hermione.
