He blinked at her hand, shocked at the flames. He knew that magic could defy logic, but he still couldn't quite wrap his head around it. "Yeah, it looks like it. You.. Must be very strong."

Kieran shivered lightly, feeling the water brush against his un-protected skin. They were deep under the water now, and he was afraid the bubble could burst. He would drown soon after. He pushed his worry aside and asked, "So, how long until we get to where you want to go?"

Kieran looked confused as soon as his companion disappeared through something he couldn't see. He stopped himself from swimming, seeming to float in the air. "Uh, Omi?" he called out. "Where did you go?"

brightfire Newbieomi's hand suddenly flashed out, latched onto his arm, and tugged him into the crack of the coral reef.

Kieran yelped as he was grabbed. He felt himself being tugged through something that was just big enough for him to fit through. His eyes widened as he watched himself get pulled through to the other side. He turned his head around- he could see now that there was a crack that he hadn't seen before.

brightfire Newbieomi put her hand to her mouth in a laughing gesture before turning and flicking her tail towards a building disguised to look like a large coral reef.

A blush formed on the raven's face. He let her tug him along, staring at all of the strange sights. He didn't know what he had expected to be here, deep under the sea, but this wasn't it. As they approached what he thought was a coral reef, he realized it was actually a building. "Gosh," he said. "That's amazing. I don't think any divers or scientists would notice the difference between this and a real coral reef...!"

Pearbugdoodles NewbieOmi ignored that fact as she rambled on about it. "Were pretty modern, though we still have a king and such.." She continued to ramble on about how the people in the aquarium sent their best details to rebuild the city.

Keiran patiently listened to her explanation of the city. He lazily swam beside her, pondering how many people lived there. He wondered if Omi, for example, was the only "octo-mermaid," or if there were more just like her. He giggled, thinking that there probably wasn't another mermaid just like her.

Pearbugdoodles NewbieOmi seemed to read his thoughts as she confirmed she was the only one. "But there are sharks, dolphins, and.. Those." She gestured to a person wiuth human legs and a fish head and laughed.

Keiran blinked, wondering how she knew what he was thinking about. Then again, he had drowned out her rambling- she might have been talking about herself again. "O-Oh," he stammered. "How.. Interesting."

"They let you do that?" Keiran looked rather shocked. "If I were one of your people, I.. Wouldn't have trusted you to do that." He looked one more time at the strange creature before deciding to drop the subject. He suddenly felt uncomfortable. "What exactly do you want to show me, Omi?"
