Kiana's glare intensified as she turned to JJ. "I will kill you... With my own two hands... Daddy would finally be proud of me..."

Kiana squirmed about in the vines, her mask hiding her tears, "Lemme go and fight me like a man! Dammit, you're just like your father! Too cowardly to fight fair!" She yelled, her voice cracking. Honestly, she was just depressed because he lied to her. She actually thought he was her friend... What a load of bull.

"Calm down. This isn't a fight. I'm just changing the rules of a game I can't win." He sighed. "You see... Originally I made the deal to get information. I had a bat cornered! A chance to prove to my father I'm not week. It was a genius plan, but life doesn't go as planned... Does it?" He sighed. "So now I'm stuck in this game again. And now I'm cornered. By my father, my mother, my life, my plan... And you. I can't win, because winning means to kill one of the things cornering me. If I loose, one of the things cornering me will kill me." He sighed.

Kiana blinked and frowned, turning her head with a scowl, "Right. Some sort of heart felt trick? I don't believe you... I don't think I ever will..." Truth was... She didn't believe herself anymore. For those few hours, she was the happiest she'd been in years... She didn't want to hope and crash again.

"And I'm not like my father... Maybe I'm like my mother... I'm not sure." JJ untied her and let the vines return to Thorn. "But it appears now that there isn't a way to change the rules... With your clear anger." He sighed and sat down. He cackled to replace the pain with insane. "Oh well... Maybe, if the religion of re-birth is true, I can give up and escape this life. You can leave if you like." He sighed. He tossed her her bat belt and added "Or you could kill me. Those seem like the options you'd prefer."

Tara was heard screaming from the other room. "Sounds like if you pic up your sister on the way you'll find out what she's afraid of. It sounds like Scarina hit her with fear gas." JJ cackled.

Kiana cringed and fastened her belt before sighing, "I'm probably going to regret this later... Meet me near the front of the warehouse. I'm going to untie Tara, and then we're leaving." She hit a button to call her bat bike and ran out, skidding to a stop and holding her breath in order to approach her sister and quickly attempting to rid her of the chains, only to be grabbed by Scarina and the gas being inhaled as she gasped, revealing her greatest fear. Being alone. She quivered and squirmed away from whatever held her, whimpering.

Tara cried as she was being untied. "We have to go back for Karina!" Tara yelled, grabbing her sister by the arm. JJ came out of the ware house, causing Tara to scream.

(Oh, sorry. I read that as Scarina gasped and was left alone, as Karina left.)

Kiana shook her head, taking deep breaths, "This isn't real..." She told herself, forcing herself to grab Tara's arm and drag her outside where she'd hopefully be somewhat able to clear her head as Kiana got onto her bike, waiting for the second presence of JJ. She couldn't see, but she sure could feel.
