Alfred stepped into Kiana's room, tears dripping down his face. He looked up and saw Kiana, then stared at her as if he was looking at the ghost of a unicorn.
"Miss... Miss Kiana!" He cheered with relief. "You're alive! Miss. Tara says she saw you being murdered by the Joker when you were out!" Alfred explained. "Miss. Tara!" He called, heading into the other room. "I believe there's been a misunderstanding!"
After a while of Alfred convincing Tara that Kiana was alive, Tara rushed into Kiana's room and gave her the look Alfred gave her except times a thousand. Then she rushed over and hugged her sister. Kiana could feel Tara's tears on her shoulder. "I thought you were dead!!! I saw... I... I saw Joker... I saw him poison you... How are you still alive? How did you get here!?!" Tara sobbed. -

FandomIsPissed NewbieA confused Kiana blinked wildly as she patted her sisters back, "What are you talking about? Joker never even touched me..." she muttered, not used to the physical contact.

"I think it was the fear gas." Johnny answered as Bruce came up and gave his daughter a similar reaction to Tara. Tara got up and saw the boy in Kiana's room. She didn't see him in all the confusion. "Who are you?" She asked.

"I'm Johnny." He answered nervously. "You look familiar... Something about that chin..." Tara studied his pointed chin that he got from his father.

FandomIsPissed NewbieKiana stiffened, "He's the guy I was hanging out with at lunch Friday. My friend." She flashed a convincing smile, hands behind her back with her fingers crossed.

"Oh yeah! I remember now! Well, I'm glad you made a friend!" Tara cheered. Bruce didn't seem as convinced. Or that could've been a protective father thing. "When did you come back home? Did you tell me you were leaving?" He asked Kiana.

FandomIsPissed Newbie"I radioed in. I came home about twenty minutes ago," Kiana explained, giving her father a glare. He was so worried about Tara, he didn't bother to listen to her! Why was it always Tara?!

"I'm sorry. Joker must have destroyed my com link. I'm glad your safe! Scarina must of hit Tara with fear gas... That explains why she thought you were dead." Bruce sighed. Tara shivered. She thought that she met the fear of failing her sister tonight. But she then realized she was failing her sister everyday.

Bruce stared at Kiana. He knew that Tara was okay. It was Kiana who they thought was dead! "Kiana, it's time for dinner. Would you please join us this time?" Bruce asked.

"Nothing... It's just you have a family that loves you, but you push them away. I have a family I love, but they push me away..." He stared at the roof, deep in thought.
